All I got out of your OP was "I don't like Inquisition so BioWare should stop making it".

Because other people enjoying the game doesn't matter. Everybody must make games that ORTesc likes or else they are literally cancer.

This, although I could have any quoted literally any one of a number of other posts. (See what I did there?)

Grabbing a video off of YouTube is hardly evidence of a growing stagnation, nor is quoting a list of things that you subjectively dislike. It seems to me that since you've now resorted to memes and circular arguments in a bid to make your point, pretty much the only thing that's dead here is this thread...

Dun be silly.

Well the thread was originally that you didn't want something to continue being made because you personally do not like it.

So I can't say that I actually feel bad about it =P

To whom am I making this point? I can go spend hours digging up links to stats and what not, but why? I'll prove one theory wrong and another will just pop up. It's an endless circle jerk around praising Bioware because it's Bioware. So really? I'm just going to go take a sh** and take my frustrations out on a hand towel.

Dragon Age wont be done as long as consumers pay for it.

I did put my vote, others as well. For the moment I play Origins till a true Dragon Age game comes out ( might never happen )

DA2 and DAI are experiments on the players, Im glad not being part of the lab rats.

I praise Bioware because they've got the best character writers in the business, hands down, bare none. That's why I've been playing their games for the past 15 years (and in that aspect, they've only gotten better as the years go by).

So, you'd prove that you can't account for taste, I guess, which is something that everyone already knows. I think Bioware has made a bunch of great games, and that Inquisition is their best since Origins. I'm not alone there - in fact, outside of a bunch of loud weirdos here and a bunch of shitlords on metacritic, the overwhelming consensus is that Inquisition is a goddamn triumph.

And... you're still hilariously overdramatic. If you keep making silly, overwrought threads, people will keep showing up to ridicule you and derail them.

Play the game and then move on. It's that simple.

Actually, that's a silly statement that many here would disagree with, not least of all... people with cancer. EA is a big, soulless corporation, and as big, soulless corporations go, they're objectively better than Activision.

You're still hilariously overdramatic.

He reminds me of a little 12 year old kid with all the "E.A is LITERALLY cancer" and "E.A is a cancer preying on this industry" comments. £10 says he's from RPG Codex. They are just as overdramatic.

I admit this thread gave me a few chuckles so I suppose he's good for that.

How dare you sir! I am not a loud weirdo. I am a man! I have an opinion!

I shall not take your ridicule and derailing of on railed proper threads. I demand action! Screw it, I'm going to play Gta 5.

I believe the developers own the right to deem what is true in terms of Dragon Age, sorry to break it to you but DA2 is just as much true Dragon Age as The Phantom Menace is true Star Wars...

I'm not sure how well Inquisition is selling, I honestly don't care. I personally think this series is just about dead. You can even tell by these forums that things have slowed down. Bioware refuses to go back to what worked and the majority of people are getting sick of it. Every game that EA produces releases with some tacked on garbage multiplayer with microtransactions. The entire business model is designed around scamming people while nickel and diming them and it's all perfectly legal.

Why should I care that you personally think the series is dead? There's the door. Use it. You're wasting your time here.

I have to disagree with the OP. Everyone I know in real life, including myself, love this game. Is it perfect? No, and no game is.

If people are upset with the mouse and keyboard, the latest patch worked on that issue.

If the issue is illusion of choice, well the same is true of pretty much most RPGs. Heck, plenty of games out there don't even give the player any choice in the story. The batman arkham games, the Halo games, Phoenix Wright, and so on. Other games offer great choices but are lacking in other areas. For example the Witcher games have great choices with consequences, but you can't customize Gerald and the combat is pretty hard to get the hang of, on the console at least, and I felt like I was spending more time rolling around in the dirt than I was actually fighting.

To the OP, what specifically about Inquisition makes you feel like Bioware has lost their way? Is it the choices? Lack of morality system? Quests?

OP:

i think you're overreacting

i'm a dwarf IRL. few years back i thought all beer i'll ever drink will be tasteless ******... so i turned to small breweries. now all i can see is big companies following consumers and releasing high quality brews. they still somewhat lack in taste, but it's enough to give me hope :3

Perhaps we travel in different circles, but in my experience when somebody uses the word "literally" it suggests one of two things:

1) They intend for their statement to be taken literally
2) They do not understand what the word literally means.

People now use it for emphasis, typically instead of figuratively. It drives me nuts but we lost this fight.

I personally need the individual validation from users on this forum, so this is a loss I won't be able to recover from anytime soon.

I'm always seeing the same people on this forum grumbling and hating this game over, over, over and over.

Why you're wasting your time on this? Why you just can't go to The Witcher forum and spend your time on more pleasant conversations? (Judging by your avatar of course)

*shrug*

Maybe the people who don't care about this game and hate it want recognition or at least to be seen as legitimate by either the mods or those who enjoy the game?

I don't know.

Perhaps, but I'll be fighting an endless rearguard action to my dying breath.  On this front, and also on the "I could care less" front.  Ugh.

I really need to know if anyone who attacks the gameplay in Bioware games has ever played the Witcher and actually enjoyed it for what it was. Because as far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, I THINK it's the worst game I've ever played.

Maybe there's a decent story in there in spite of the protagonist, but I got about 6 hours in before I died of boredom. What an awful control scheme, what an awful interface.
