I have been banned. I have 3 warnings. Hurry and report me so I get my 4th!

Report yourself if it means that much to you. Or just stop posting and pretend you were banned.

Seriously, I can see why you'd want to be banned, It's starting to look like you're the victim of some weird type of compulsive OCD where you can't stop posting here, and you're trying to get someone to rip the keyboard out of your hands. But I don't owe you any favors, and I'm not going to report you,

You know why this forum is full of people that endlessly defend this game right? They ban anyone that has a negative opinion on their precious art. Just like the Mass Effect 3 ending, you must be a troll if you didn't like it! It was an artistic masterpiece! The only people left here are the ones looking for a pat on the head by a developer that doesn't even post on their own forums anymore. So much for a place for Bioware to communicate with their fans, as Chris Priestly stated when these forums went live.

Hilarious. It honestly is. To sit here and watch people defend garbage because they're so in denial that Bioware hasn't made a decent game since Origins.

Oh my. I do love how uninformed people do like to run on. I've had 3 board warnings and a 24 hour ban because people very much like you decided that Report Post was better than actually addressing the things they said. They, like you, loved to come out with guns blazing, textually speaking, only to find that, when they had to actually deal with someone that responded the same way they did, it was safer for them to "run to mommy moderator" to "save" them, I guess. Do continue playing your victim card, however, the tears are delicious.

It is of course entirely possible to like a story, series or concept without necessarily liking the producers behind it...for example many people like Star Wars, but they may not like George Lucas...

Fair enough. I like Dragon Age. I like Mass Effect. I hate Bioware. I used to love Bioware. I used to buy anything with Bioware's name on it.

The reason why people like myself post here is because we give a damn. Not because we're trolls or because we hate the games. If everyone sat here and smiled all day Bioware would think it's doing something good stripping out inventories and writing garbage endings. We can't have that can we?

Honestly, the only great thing that ME2 has over ME1 was ditching the half-assed RPG trappings (which were poorly implemented and tedious at best) and making it more of a shooter.

And you continue to be hilariously overdramatic.

So an inventory is an RPG trapping?

I'm for people saying their opinions.. be it good or bad, but the way you come and talk around here is not the way to do it. Ok, you don't like the game because.......... Fine, no problem. Coming here and throwing dirt is not the best way of making you heard. There are a lot of people here who  discuss the games flaws, but they do it in a civilized manner.

There must be something wrong with me because I enjoy the game, and yes, I'm aware of it's flaws and they annoy me too sometimes, but the game has GOOD in it.

Or, maybe if they did, Bioware would stop making garbage games? Because, you know... people aren't buying their garbage anymore? Nothing gets done when you sit there and nod your head all day.

Keep on fighting the good fight, then.

Yes. It was awful. The entire loot system was awful.

Perhaps you should learn proper social skills and use constructive arguments if you want to share your critique and if you "give a damn".Instead of bashing on a company/video game with immature insults and arrogant expressions.

It's actually really hard to get banned here.

No, it's really not, I did it once. All you have to do is ****** off a troll bad enough, they hit report post, and cry to a mod, and boom, you win a 24 hour vacation.

I'm lying? How many times does Bioware need to lie to you before you call them out on their BS?

Place for Bioware to talk to their fans? Lie.

Spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate? Lie.

Made for PC gamers by PC gamers? Lie.

Choices matter? Lie.

Mass Effect 2 had it's entire inventory system stripped and people still worship Bioware.

Mass Effect 3 ending and people still worship Bioware.

Dragon Age 2. Nuff said. And people still worship Bioware.

Inquisition and it's endless fetch quests and people still worship Bioware.

SWTOR has one of the worst F2P models in the industry, LITERALLY forcing people to pay them to see content.

...and people still worship Bioware. NEWSFLASH: this isn't the same Bioware that made Kotor, Jade Empire, Baldur's Gate, etc. This is EA run, screw the consumer, nickel and dime them Bioware. And people still worship Bioware.

and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...

I agree, it had issues. Just like the Mako had issues. That doesn't mean you drop the entire inventory. How about improve the inventory? Improve the Mako? Nope! Just hit delete and have nothing!

The things that Bioware does makes no sense to me. It's like they do it on purpose just to screw with people.

Yeah, you give so much of a damn and you don't hate the game to such an extent that you go out of your way to sh*t talk and condemn anything that isn't exactly like the older games, because you care.

I put 100 hours into Inquisition. I've done countless DAO/ME runs. It's not just about the older games. The older games had their own issues. Origins has it's own issues. None of these games are perfect. But game of the year? 9/10? Come on man. You and I both know this game isn't the best thing made in 2014.

Yes. Not all RPGs are about inventory. Just about all CRPGs are, but this is a problem with the staleness of CRPG concepts

Mass Effect is a shooter with bad shooting and a bunch of badly implemented RPG stuff because Bioware had never made a shooter before and didn't know what to do with themselves. Come ME2, they learned how to make a shooter and realized that you don't need an inventory.

I would certainly give this game GOTY, because I feel it's the best game to come out this year, of all the games I've played. Before DAI, my personal frontrunner was Alien: Isolation, which is about as old-school as it gets when it comes to a modern survival horror game.

It isn't about "knowing" anything, because it's an opinion. If I think DAI is GOTY-worthy, then I think DAI is GOTY-worthy. GamesRadar says Destiny is GOTY-worthy, but I think that game is a bad joke. It doesn't make them any less valid.

... Why the f**k would you put 100 hours into a game you very clearly don't like?

Inventory is a stale concept?

It is when it's invading a genre that has no need for any similar function. That would be like if I were developing a Gran Turismo or Forza racing sim and thought it was a good idea to add stealth mechanics.

I wouldn't go so far as "stale concept" since I think acquiring loot is a fun and important aspect of a game like DA... but I can't say it's absolutely necessary in every case in a RPG. As I said earlier, I don't regard the ME series as in the RPG genre mechanically, but some people here still do and they don't seem to have a problem with the removal of inventory in that case.

I recognise that you give a damn,

you are not a troll, though some may mistake you for one.

I think what you are doing is a form of 'toxic venting'.

You have no doubt made reasonable and constructive cases for change in the past,

but that's unsuccessful, so you turn up the volume and make your case more emphatic.

As no change results you continue to turn up the rhetoric to the stage that you are screaming

hyperbole and invective until the only point is the vent itself.

The result is a toxic forum which drives away writers, devs and anyone else with sense.

The remainder just want to argue with you or are hoping you will shut up.

It's not helping.

Is there surely not a more measured way you could give your feedback?

I never said I didn't like the game. There are things that Inquisition does very right. And then the things it does very wrong, which I point out. Fire is good. It cooks us things. Sticking your foot in fire isn't good. It cooks your things.
