Well, mind posting your current build using http://da-skills.net/then? That shouldn't take too long.
I like to make new builds, and occasionally share them, mainly because the current paradigm of cookie cutters suck, but I admit Hunter's a weakpoint for me.
As promised, this was the build I happened to be using in that particular video.
However, my primary solo builds are this or this which I refer to as my "Backstab Hunter". Spike Trap + Hidden Step is a REALLY amazing combo at downing clumped mobs.
I'm not a huge fan of Full Draw but it's pretty invaluable in taking out hard targets on the initial pull. The only must have's IMO when it comes to Hunter is Gaps in the Armor and Pin Cushion. Huge, HUGE, DPS increase with those.
Best advice I can give is this: learn the terrain like the back of your hand. The trick to solo'ing Perilous, at least as a Hunter, is terrain. Every nook and cranny. Some rooms are trickier to clear than others. That you only learn with experience. Lots and lots of dying. Trial and error. Using enemy pathing against the AI. Not getting confused about where you're going when you need to retreat or how fast TO retreat in order to keep them in the order you want them in.
It's all about terrain.
Solo'ing is a completely different beast as a hunter. You can't face tank ****. Gotta play smart. More chess, less checkers.
