1. I play on the Xbox360, and my GamerTag is the same one that I use for the BSN: SLicK350.
2. I am in Brooklyn, New York.
3. I usually play after 8:00PM, Eastern Standard Time.
4. I play mostly Platinum. I will occasionally play Gold if I want to do the Biotic Charge/Cryo Explosion combination with greater frequency, or if I want use Stasis/Stasis Bubble more often.
5. I do not mind playing on Firebase Giant, but I would rather play on Giant Hazard because the ammunition-crates provide more grenades than Giant, because the night-time setting is more visually-interesting than the day-time setting (IMO), and because the more-frequent cannon-fire and ground-tremors are more challenging (IMO).
6. Although I do not mind playing on Firebase Giant, I prefer the much more difficult maps such as London, Jade, and Condor.
7. I like to battle all of the factions, but I prefer The Collectors and Cerberus; I like The Collectors because, in my opinion, they are the most difficult faction. I like Cerberus because I love to make Phantoms look stupid!

A can of compressed air can work wonders. Your PSU fan is probably clogged, but also check the case fan, the CPU fan, and the heatsink fins on the CPU cooler. The latter especially is prone to total clogging.
Or just pop in a new thermal clip....

My gamertag is Der x Adler. My friends list is full but send me a message and we can play sometime. I'm not that active anymore on it but I love the game and I'm pretty good when I warm up and I'm not rusty. I'm a teamplayer and I play smart, generally. Feel free to add me or send a message so we can play. ![]()

I have added a number of you as friends but at the moment will not be joining any parties. My PSU does not like ME3 multiplayer. I can play the single player campaign or WoT online but ME3 multiplayer causes it to overhead. I can play 2 sliver games or 1 gold before it crashes. I have not risked platinum since I stated playing again. Unfortunately my headset is wireless which will just add to the load on the PSU.
I will need to get my hands on a tool to open and clean the PSU, a vacuum has not worked.
Just realised this is an account I opened up before I started xbox. My xbox GT is NahWasntMe
Managed to get it sorted. So back in action.
Did not have to open the main unit, Fixed the problem by cleaning out the PSU. The vent/slot nearest the PSU fan was clogged.
The short version, this is an xbox 360 slim, the older ones have a different PSU as far as I know.
Unplug PSU. Take off four feet. Your now looking at four inserts, I did not have a strong enough blade to place between the inserts and the case but managed to lever the inserts out using a small flat head screw driver against the inside of the insert.
Next remove the four screws and the case comes apart. Your supposed to use a torx tamper proof size 10 for this, there is a pimple in the screw head which prevents you using a standard torx head . I managed using a torx tamper proof size 8 which came with a kit when I replaced my controller cases. If using a size 8 Just be careful not to use too much force at the start or you might damage the screw head.
From here you can remove the fan for cleaning. There are air vents/slots near each end of the case, they come out and can be cleaned.

Xbox 360 is getting pretty low in players now huh? I keep running into the same players...also, during the weird hours in my time zone there's literally no one joining my games, and when I try to join a game, I always get put into the same lobbies of 1 person, haha.
I took a pretty lengthy break and now I'm back to play a little bit because I have less on my plate.
GT - Yatsufusa
I'll play Platinum and Gold sometimes.

I do silver and gold mainly (bronze only up to level 13 or so on builds). And yes, I like to run with heavy pistols, namely the executioner. And no, my name is not "Pete". I generally play as the "Heavy Hitter" kind of team player.
Sometimes I can find a good gold (even silver) match where the other guys have the proper equipment (like level 10 weapons and such), but usually I have a tendency to run into people playing Gold with bad equipment, weapons, and builds. Like loading down adepts with heavy weapons. Mainly, I can hold a section of the map myself, but if the other guys on my team are constantly going down, I end up getting swarmed.
Silver I can do without any consumables, but not yet on gold. I don't use the microphone/headpiece because I got tired of little kids cussing every time they went down, and they went down a lot.

To the last few posters: please try reading the first post in this thread:

@Yatsufusa - check that post for the ports to open in your router, it sounds like your connection to the matchmaking system is blocked, since there are loads of players on X360.

I would also suggest checking you've got all the DLC installed, including the newest one (reckoning) as that might be why you're only seeing a few people

Rusty,
, you haven't read the OP in that thread either, have you? It says, and I quote:
"Also, before searching for a game, make sure that you have all the (FREE) multiplayer DLC installed:
++ Reckoning
++ Rebellion
++ Resurgence
++ Retaliation
++ Earth
Without these DLCs, you won't be able to play with anyone online."
Which is why I always point people to that post - I took the trouble to spell it out carefully and in detail already ![]()

So how many on here who I haven't played with are still playing? I play more now and I never usually lack for people to play with (I inevitably almost always have at least 1 with me
) and I always like to play with everyone at least once. You know, give them a chance... ![]()
I'll also be starting an alt account pretty soon, the one attached to <<<<<. So if you're a newer player that needs some gold/platinum credits or an experienced one that doesn't mind carrying a scrub, let me know if you're interested. I won't leave a GT on for reasons <<<<<, but it's not hard to see who I am...
PM me here and I'll send you a FR or if you know who I am, send it to my original GT. ![]()
