I am trying to install ME2 Collectors’ Edition (PC version) that I bought at gamestop for the first time. After the agreement page it asks me to enter the entire Registration Code found either in your confirmation email, your game manual/product packaging, or game card.
 
I enter in the 20 digit code on the back of the manual and I get the following error message:
 
“You have entered an invalid code. You cannot continue the installation process until you have a valid code.”
 
I am connected to the internet currently (I know it needs to connect in order to let me activate.)
 
I need help.
 
First, confirm that your system meets or exceeds the published minimum system specs:

1.      OS:      Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit

2.      CPU:    2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

3.      RAM:   2 GB

4.      VIDEO:            nVidia GeForce GTS 250
 
5.      AUDIO:            DirectX 9.0c compatible? Likely, how do I figure that out?

6.      DirectX            9.0c August 2008

I have the same kind of problem on my end.
If anybody knows why this would be happening any information would be appreciated.
Mine is the physical disk version.

I have a similar problem. I have entered the CD key, installed the game, then when I go to play the game a screen comes up saying "Failed to authenticate CD please insert correct disc then try again". Any ideas why this would happen?

At least you can manage to install, I can't goany farther than the liscense agreement. I wanna cry.Like that.
