Hello.

I think that we PC players should say big thank you to all those modders out there who are working hard with unfriendly engine from unfriendly developer to give us new costumes, armors, models, textures and many other things that BioWare failed to deliver.

The beauty of PC are mods and you, Modders! You make PC games to love longer and help us enjoy it more nad fix what developer failed.

Right now Modders are working hard to get meshes and go wild with armors and costumes. I am no modder- but I am glad that we have you!

However! First tastes of what they will give us can be found in links below:

And newest mod by sanatahagan for PAJAMA! YES! THAT HOW YOUR SKYHOLD PAJAMA CAN LOOK RIGHT NOW (link to mod and author below PICTURE). Like true AAA game model:

All thanks to modders, since BioWare could only give us pajama....Thank you for your hard work in doing this (like mod above) in month and what BioWare could not do in 4 years.

THANK YOU!

While I am suitably impressed by this early work and respect the effort involved (especially with the armor leather pad tweak), I am much more interested in unofficial patches, bug fixes, and perhaps an eventual overhaul to the loot/shop system so that schematics are not reliant upon rng to obtain. While I can use the Cheat Engine since I am on pc, I feel it hurts my experience a bit and would prefer the more natural fixes that mods can introduce. Sadly, I expect it will take time for such mods to be available due to the less than mod friendly engine of DAI.

Judging by the comments at Nexus, a lot of peoplem seem to be breaking their game with mods and the mod manager?

Yes, a thousand big thanks from me too, for all the modders working hard on the modding tools and those who have allready made mods like textures!

Not had any problems with my game after installing some mods with the new user made manager..

By the way using that above pajama revamp by Sanatahagan myself and yesh, its absolutely gorgeous, comes in many colours and also makes some of the "pajama-showing" armor like enchanters armot show parts of it instead of the errr...not my favorite look that was the original pjs and underarmor ;)

And huge thanks to Adela who I see is  allready working on amazing hair meshes for when mesh swapping becomes possible :)

Here, some taster, wow, incredible...

Just wanted to thank Adela here asap  cause not member on that forum so far :D

Can`t wait for people to crack mesh swapping, good luck!

SO much this! If it's locked behind The Short List perk that's fine, just make them all available in a single run.
A mod to disable the Skyhold outfit (so you wear your armor in Skyhold) would also be nice, so I don't have to run Cheat Engine.

Can't wait for qunari armors from modders and getting rid of Skyhold outfit and being able to wear my normal armor...

And maybe mabes ROBES! ROBES...not coats...

Modders are best, Modders are best! ^^

leave it to unpaid gamers to fix the problems of a company that prints money and after it prints its cash will debate fixing the game and making dlc or taking the dosh and running

Precisely, since BioWare made so poor customization content that modders have to do all work for them....

We can expect new hairs soon I think! :)

Running 5 mods currently and they don't brake the game at all. Should a mod not function, it is simply fixed by deleting the contents of your merged folder. Problems arise only when players don't read instruction and for whatever reason tamper with the official patch (but that too is easily fixed any way by deleting it --- if you didn't back it up --- run repair and reacquire it, that simple. The mod manager can't brake anything, really.

The mod I await most is where you can chose the outfit you like whenever you like. I'm sure it will come.

LoveAlice already made the 'Armor - No Class Restrictions'

I have this deep desire as female inquisitor to be able to attend to the ball at the Winter Palace in a dress.

And of course I wouldn't be ungrateful if I was able to chose a ponytail...

While the mods look great, i'm more worried about future patches and DLC might do to my game while using them..

Now they will create those nude shitty mods and final fantasy hair style characters. This is why i prefer no mods for this game, is good the way it is.

Not everyone will aim for creating nude mods for the game.... And as someone said above, we desperately need those damn schematics to be obtainable from merchants or other places. Farming for some rare stuff is a pain.

I 100% agree with you that modders have...created some abominations. And yes I'm referring specifically to those nude mods and final fantasy hairs (I call them prom hair - the tacky over the top kind) and I know it will only be a matter of time before someone slaps one of those on Cassandra and Sera and then create a white Vivienne (I don't want to use the word whitewash because I also don't like it when modders attempt to "diversize" the party by making everyone darker).

But there are some modders who do have an eye for where things can be improved since no developer is perfect.

And I really could not care less because it's not an official patch and no one forced to download it.
