Are you talking about the Blizzard who sold me Diablo 3 (in 2013 or 2014) for 69,99 euro, and re-sold me an Extension (reaper of souls - Damn Mathael he make me lower the difficulty of the game) for 50 euro (the price of an entire game) ?    :D

Hopefully we the gamers which pay for games are here (are existing), without us, those damned company like Bioware, EA, etc, can't exist... !!!

And not even an answer from Bioware Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ummm... yes? They're one of the few game developers I know that isn't owned by EA. But we can go somewhere else, if you want. :)

And you're right. We pay their salaries. If every member of this board would to stop buying EA/BioWare games, they would feel it.

No, not yet.

Yeap, them's the ones. And yes, I gladly got both, cause, despite how some people disagreed with the game mechanics, the game was solid, it played purrfectly, it was and is highly enjoyable, there were frequent updates on bugs and glitches, with several apologies in the middle, and the experience was and is overall good. Sure, people complain that it's not like the other Diablos. I can understand that. But that doesn't have anything to do with support or services or false advertisement and deceiptful claims. And don't forget that it released ALOT LATER on consoles because they wanted to develop more. Respect from me there.

Indeed. I was not happy with Diablo 3 and its expansion, but I just chalk that down to myself simply outgrowing hack + slash titles (which I don't necessarily consider positive, as I enjoyed being gripped by D2LoD. Man, I had no trouble spending all day farming Meppo or Pindleskin and had FUN doing it. Now I barely step into D3 and feel bored by that stupid RNG.)

But Blizzard will always keep a top spot for their interactivity with their user base. Most of the time they show excellent communication (man, their patch notes are really, really good), and while I don't agree with all of their "balance" changes, I can see the sense in them. Maybe it's time to try WoW again with its new expansion. If only it wasn't so dangerously addictive.

Common guys, don't you remember ? firstly on Blizzard forums, Consoles players cannot even participate, account not linked to Blizzard servers...

Console players don't exist for Blizzard...

I remember we were confined in a small section of the forum... We could read the topic created by PC Diablo players, but couldnot participate...

Even today, on http://eu.battle.net/d3/fr/

it is impossible to see our characters progression, and even participate on all the forums... We are still confined (restrained) to a little little section of the Diablo 3/Reaper of souls forum...

As if Diablo 3 PC and Diablo 3 PS3/Xbox wasn't the same game, with same characters, same specializations, spells, etc...

Damn Blizzard, Damn Battle, Damn Bioware

I still prefer Bioware, they don't restrain us to a small section of the forum, they just don't listen us, but we can talk as we want, Pc DAI player can talk with PS3 DAI gamer

Hey : my last ng DAI took me 350 hour to finish, Diablo 3 took me 50 hours ... Battle games are far more expensive than Bioware games, i prefer Bioware games, i just want them to listen a bit us ...

SHOUTING : BIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWARRRRRRRRRE DOOOOOO YOUUUUUU LIIIIIISTTTTTENNNN ME ? BIOOOWARRRRRRE I'MMMMMMM HERRRRRRRE

BIOOOOOOOOWARRRRRE, BIOOOOOOOWARRRE HOUUHHHHHOUUU I'M HERE (LOOK DOWN, WE ARE ALLL HERE !!!)

Pssst : Do you think they are deaf ? I mean the entire Bioware team ? are they deaf, blind, stone peoples (sourds - they don't heard, or they are blind to certain things/peoples/their Players complaint ? )

:P

BIOWARE THIS CAN HELP YOU : help4_Bioware.jpg

OR THIS (to read/To see us better) : help4_Bioware2.jpg

I'm sure this could help u Bioware to listen your fans (i love u Bioware, just want to help you) : Help4_Bioware3.jpg

Save files are 16Mo size... it is huge (big, very big)...

If i am correct, consoles don't support too big size save files, it was the same with Skyrim...

When you begin skyrim, your save was 100 Ko, after 50 hour of gameplay, the save size was 3 mo, after 250 hours of gameplay, the PS3 started to freeze (and needed hard reboot) because the save file size was up 15Mo...
And with Skyrim, in general settings, we could disable auto-save, which reduce the PS3 freeze frequency... but it just needed we don't forgot to save time to time to avoid loosing 10 hours of gameplay because of PS3 crashing...

It is exactly the same with DAI...

Auto save crashe on PS3 and on Xbox (i suspect because of the sending datas options - those one you could disable them - i disabled them to avoid the freeze, and it worked for me and some friends) ... Textures don't load properly...

Saving take 3 mn, loading take 3 mn, fast travel take 3 mn more (when you arrive) because of auto save...

I've never had any problems playing Skyrim. I guess I was lucky enough to get a copy of the game that for some reason just behaves as it should, unlike my copy of DA I.

I'm no techie, I am about as far from that as someone can possible be, but to me it seems that the things you listed with auto-save shouldn't be too impossible for BioWare to fix. Or maybe they are...

My version of DAI is the Digital one from PSN :

To recuce the DAI PS3 crash frequency, i just have disabled all the options in :

Settings -> Account -> Disable connection do EA servers + disable sending datas to keep + disable sending datas...

For first i had 4-5 Hard freeze per day (freeze which need to force reboot the PS3)

After disabling those settings, crashes reduced to 1/day, 1/2 days...

I reinstalled the game completely yesterday on my Xbox360. So far I have about 4 hours of game time with no freezes, but still no banter other than the quest related stuff. I make sure to go through the journal and the codex and stuff but it hasn't helped one bit. But reading your post, I realised that I had forgotten to unchek the account stuff. So, thank you for the reminder. If I'm lucky I might be able to get at least the occational banter from the party members once I've disabled the accounts. :)

On topic: Still no reply or any indication that BioWare is aware of the fact that we all would very much like to hear from them.

Maybe they should change their name to Bio-un-aWare? Or BioNotcare? Bio-thanks for the money now please go away-Ware?

Just use what I started calling them and which is likely their new name, EAWare.

On a side note I wouldnt be surprised to find out EA shut the studio down to save money or are refusing to patch the game as EA is pissed about losing out to Comcast for worst company in America for 2014.

Ah, that was you? I know I've seen EAware around the threads and it is quite clever, and just a tiny bit evil in a good way. ;)

Let's hope not since we really need a patch. Although I have a growing suspicion that Patch 3 will focus entirely on mulitplayer. I know a lot of people are reporting bugs and glitches with the multiplayer, and of course EA-Bio-we just wanted your money so please stop bugging us-Ware, should fix those problems. But since I can't even get the damn mulitplayer to start, it just keeps saying that I don't have an internet connection despite the fact that I do, I honestly don't care much about it. Personally, I want them to fix the problems that makes DA I on Xbox360/PS3 completely unplayable for some, and torture rather than fun for others.

And it would be awesome if Patch 3 fixed the no banter bug across all platforms.

I've been using that name for them since they got bought by EA just before ME2 was released.  Thing is I usually troll forums because half the time what I want to know has already been asked and answered, the only times I bother posting is when stuff strikes a chord with me which this game has.  That and lack of interaction with the people who made EAWare what they were.  I haven't played TOR but I know several who did at launch and the heavy handed devs on the forums there sound like what has happened here a bit from what they have said.  Its typical EA to go out of their way to ****** people off by doing what they have done here.  Even ME3MP had more dev interaction back when it was fresh.

I missed the whole ME3 debacle, thankfully. When I bought the game it was patched and fixed and worked perfectly. I did experience the WTF-ending before downloading the new they made with the extra cut scenes and stuff. I still think the ending could have been more epic but I guess you can't get everything.lol

I found out EA had bought BioWare right before the release of DA I and was very disappointed. To me EA has always been the bad guys and BioWare the good guys. I guess now there's only bad guys left.

EA/BioWare should take care. The gaming industry relies on us buying what they produce and more than one company has been forced to shut down because they let down their fan-base one time too many.

You can say that again mate... cause I fear that if I start again, I won't be able to stop, get off it so's to work, and I'll just start  giving month after month again. And I'm not all that keen, been clean for almost two years now. :/

TOR was a placeholder riddled piece of ****, and in no way whatsoever did it ever even touch WoW as an MMO. We just stayed on it for the sentimental value, we got to be Jedi and Sith, and truth be told the Sith questlines were gobsmackingly fantastic. But... big but. And now, even bigger but. :/ I seriously dislike when mmos go f2p.

What do you mean by "Banter" ?

Is it when companions talk together (Varric with Cassandra for example) ?

If it is what you mean by bantering, i notified, they banter (companions talk together) when i'm in a safe place (cleaned all ennemies), and more often, when i reload the same save 4, 5, 6 time (for example when i want to reset a chest content)...

Each time the save is loaded, i heard them talking together...

Yes. It's when the party members chat with each other when you're running around in the Hinterlands for example. It's usually them joking or teasing each other, and your character the Inquisitor is suppose to join in too, and the characters are suppose to comment during battle too. Neither has ever happened when I play the Xbox360 version of the game.

- Solas + Cole - Cole wanted to help Solas with his old suffering remembrance

- Vivienne + Cole Cole asked why Vivienne trapped one of the Orlesian nobleman, by pushing him to attack the inquisition ... I hate this ****** always calling Cole (a spirit of compassion) Demon !...

That's even less than what I've been getting on the Xbox360 version.

I've found that deleting the game, then reinstalling it seems to have helped a bit. I'm getting a little more banter and a little less freezes and endless loads. I have managed about 10 hours of game play and in those 10 hours I've only had to restart the game three times (!) due to saves never finishing loading and one time because the game froze when I hit the hinterlands. The graphic and audio is as glitchy as ever though with the sound going mute in Val R. and characters speaking in tongues during cut-scenes.

Even with the banter being more frequent (one exchange every hour or so instead of every third) ,the game is still a hassle to play, and it desperately needs patches.

Agreed, on both points...for the most part the issues I have encountered, have been minimal. And there are not enough next gen games out to make me want to make the jump just yet.

If you think this is being a jerk, you need to learn to distinguish 'disagreement' from 'hostility.' I am disagreeing with her assessment on the basis of her claims- if she did not want her views considered and weighed on their own merits, she would not have posted them.

Unplayable already has a definition- it means 'can not be played.' Not 'do not want to play it,' or 'do not enjoy it,' or 'an exaggeration to express my dissatisfaction with bugs.'

She has issues that make the game unplayable. Corrupted saves and loading freezes actually prevent her from playing the game. Muted sound bugs, not enough ambient conversation, and some of her other issues do not prevent her from playing the game.

Words have meaning. She misused a word with a non-subjective meaning. She was challenged. No animosity was exchanged, and in the future she will express herself and her views better. Life goes on.

Hey now look I get she payed 60 bucks for the game do did the rest of us! They took a trophy and won't deal with. Like some said all they have to say is we're working on it every week like blizzard does!! How do u take a thread off that u started anyone know?
Been Bioware fan for long time but thanks to you I'm so done willing to look over all the crap figure they'd fix it big file my 360 elite still has space of 147gb (of to old it like windows me on it. It's just for Bg1&2 but put them away too) I can't believe ur nerve the Whole reasons For Bioware gamers is the banter and allies all that stuff that makes it feel more real like your invoked in a whole different world . She didn't miss use her words such rudeness everyone has a right when they spend the hard earn money on something that suppose to be. Like the trailers that cut cut but they got a medal for WOW.
I'm sorry As said on here by someone else the Bioware I loved is gone forever and I see now it's not coming back.

Bioware and EA,

This letter is from your fans, both past and present, to request better testing for your games and also better interaction from you, the developers, with your fans.  It should be noted that this is not intended to be another “Retake Mass Effect”.

The release of Dragon Age Inquisition was something we have awaited for some time.  While many of us were able to play the game without issues, there were many more who are either unable to play the game still due to various issues, or issues who negatively impact the games story telling or multiplayer.  We understand that it is a very big game, on a new engine, and on multiple systems which makes it difficult to catch every bug or glitch before and after release.  We also understand that due in part to the holidays and the timing of the games release that you, the developers, are more than entitled to spend time with your families and loved ones.  What we do ask for is for testing to be more comprehensive before release, and that issues such as those will be listed below are caught and fixed before the game goes to market.

Some of the issues that have been causing problems for people, both in single player and multiplayer, are:

• Stuttering cut scenes.  This seems to be the biggest issue that players have been having with the game.  While this issue has been addressed somewhat it is still not fixed for many and as of “Patch 2” it has caused the problem to start happening where it never was a problem before.
• The game crashing to desktop for no apparent reason.  This issue is a big one and can happen in the first 5 minutes or 5 hours.  It also happens in multiplayer.  This issue is something that should have been caught as it is happening across all system types and at this time does not seem to have a common denominator for what is causing it.
• Multiplayer net code.  This is in serious need of improvement.  Rubber-banding, players not being granted experience and lack of ping indicator are just some of the issues with multiplayer on this game.  A lot of the issues I personally have seen in DAI in regard to the net code were also present in ME3MP, which tells me that it seems to have been ported over.
• Cheating in multiplayer.  The developers have asked for the players to report cheating, however, there are several people on the leaderboard who are known cheaters in the community.  There are several people on there who were not even on the top 100 and suddenly showed up at the top with scores that shouldn’t have been possible at this time.  It is also difficult to report the cheaters when the Official Bioware Forums appear to have no community manager, and when the developers have stated they follow Reddit more closely than they do your own forums.  This is not to say that some don’t read the forums, but that statement in itself says a lot.
• Developers who do post to the forums.  Several of those who do post on the official forums seem to have a belief that the players don’t know what they are talking about and are unwilling to address valid points such as issues with the game.  This is not to say that is the case all the time, but there have been veiled threats as well as general disregard of people trying to inform those who need to know of issues.  We really need to have someone who is a go between for the developers and the players.
• Better patch testing in addition to better testing for the game.  To call out the shader issue which was causing players to have characters which aged 90 years overnight.  How this was not caught by internal testing prior to the patch being released goes to highlight the lack of internal testing and quality assurance.
• Items in multiplayer being directly ported over into the game for skills which are not in the multiplayer aspect at this time.  More specifically items which increase focus generation which is a single player mechanic, at this time.
• Finally, stating that in “Patch 2” you “Improved push-to-talk functionality when using keyboard and mouse” is a lie.  How do you improve something when it was not present to start with?  In addition to this, push to talk works when it wants to, but most of the time seems to revert back to voice activation even if the setting is enabled in the options.  Furthermore, many issues that were listed as being solved on patch notes, such as exploits on specific skills like long draw, weren’t solved after testing them in game.  Accurate patch notes would go a long way towards building trust with the player base in the future.

While many of us have very few, if any issues with Dragon Age Inquisition, the lack of beta testing has been highlighted and seems to be normal in this day for game software.  It also seems that the developers being forced to use an engine such as Frostbite 3 when said engine has been used is Battlefield 4, a game which has had multiple issues and while heavily updated, still has issues to this day was a mistake.  This is not to say that the game does not look great and that the story is not up to par (it is) we request that testing be taken as a higher priority than it seems to be.

I would like to state that I have been a player of Bioware games since the release of Baldur’s Gate 1 back in 1998 and have been an ardent supporter of Bioware since that day.  With the release of Dragon Age: Origins I had great hopes that this would be a return of sorts to those days.  I loved DA:O and still do, it is one of my favorite games still just as BG1 and BG2 are.  With the release of Mass Effect 1 I fell in love with that series as well as it was a fresh take on the fantasy RPG and RPG’s in general.  This started to change with the release of Dragon Age 2.  DA2 felt rushed to me and while the story and the characters introduced were great, the gameplay and layout seemed bland and much smaller in scope than DA:O was.  With Mass Effect 3 and the controversy surrounding the ending to the trilogy I was not a supporter of the “Take Back Mass Effect” campaign, but I was more disheartened with the direction Bioware seemed to be going.  With Dragon Age Inquisition I refused to read any reviews, told friends to shut up if they mentioned anything about the game to me because I was going to buy the game with the last bit of faith I had left in Bioware.  I will say that it is a great game and the story is well done.  When the bugs aren’t showing up the multiplayer is very fun when it works properly.  The issues this game has are so obvious that I will no longer be buying anything from Bioware at release again, and if I do, likely not until it is on a deep discount.  I will no longer support Bioware since they seem to have strayed far from the principles they used the have and are unwilling to communicate with their fans (the comment about Reddit being used over the official forums).  You have finally broken me down EAWare and have lost a fan of 16 years.

Sincerely,
Waukeen25

Thank you Waukeen25 took the words out of my mouth. Sad is they got a trophy for Cut stuff really. I'm out of here
