blood as a component

---

on second thought

that would have been a great evil action!

shove a companion into the well against their will!

missed opportunities!

Ah then that's fine , i only draw the line at the demon part , if it's just cutting yourself or using some poor schmuck enemy as a conduit of blood that's fine , that's not crossed the *Pure Evil* line yet.

I'm with Solas on blood magic. magic is Magic and, as long as you aren't murdering innocents, blood is fine.

As for Mythal, I don't think she gave all of herself to Solas in the end, only that sliver, like she put in the locket Hawke took, enough to come back but not all of herself. An anchor to this world. I suspect she will return yet again via that ritual that brings her back. "En uthanera narrivas." Flemeth/Mythal. :)

So if Solas Absorbed Mithal, does that mean he has control over the Inquisitor? (or my inquisitor, since I took the well)

This is a really good question. I just assumed that when Flemeth died, anyone who was bound would be released. But there's no guarantee about that, is there? What a twist that would be if the inquisitor took a drink and then ended up bound to Solas.

I think the point is that most companions aren't thrilled by the situation, so even if they give you advice on what they think is best, they still don't want it to be happening in the first place. Lesser of two evils in some minds.

Regarding Solas, I believe he wouldn't want to drink from the well because he was already around in those times! Why does he need to have some priestsin his head, who may also think he betrayed Mythal, the "gods", or maybe even all the Elves!
