The hide helmet option is a god send.

Built-in blonde wigs? What were they thinking?!

Bioware always screws up head gear options. In ME2 we had a helmet which had ceramic plating in front, but strangely left our mouths uncovered. Stupid design decisions when it comes to their head gear. Inquisition a lot of the Helmets do not fit the head properly it feels they twice as large. The only person who the helmets fit properly is blackwall as every helmet fits him perfectly.

Meh. I actually think head gear is the best itemized slot in the game. Unique items are actually best in slot. Also, there's a nice mix of good looking (Helm of the Inquisitor), okay looking (Adventurers Helm), and fugly (All the French masks on dudes).

I just unlocked the Short List perk, and was hugely disappointed. Yes, it does unlock rare items for sale. But it does so *randomly*. I wanted to get the Superior Battlemage Armor schematic from the Hissing Wastes merchant, but two days after getting the perk, he won't sell it.

Apparently, it's random :/

So if you're planning to get specific schematics, it's a bad perk to invest in. But if you just want access to tier 3 items, I suppose it's all right. Still, you might be better off with chest loot respawns at higher level areas.

All you had to do was leave the map and go back to the merchant again. He wiki lists all the specific tier 3 stuff it gives. Its not a bad list.

Agreed, it's a good perk but most of the times you actually have to exit the game for the items list to change. Changing the map does often nothing. Still, after getting perk, I managed to get all four - superior battlemage, superior Prowler, Superior battlemaster armor and superior Battlemaster mail - in the course of five days.

That ME2 thing was actually because the *earlier* helmets had sealed faceplates that Shepard would happily drink and kiss through. Looked ridiculous.

I do agree that Bioware have got a shocking track record though, but in the case of DA:I i think it was more to do with odd omissions. Like the orlesian battlemage robe is in there, but the helmet is not (the robes icon even shows the nonexistent helmet on it). The Heavy Infantry Helmet (seen in most superb helmet schematic icons) is also nonexistent. The inquisition helm was made a super-rare drop at the mercy of the RNG, despite it being non-stop displayed in all the media for the game.

I really do wish bioware would put a bit more thought into stuff like this.
