Cassandra is certainly awesome! Every time I start a new character to test out the other romances, I still end up with her.

Btw, there's implication she and Sera end up together (or they are BFF's) if not romanced. Sera mentions her in her journal some times, even drew herself and Dagna in badass positions.

(doesn't surprise me, they kind of have the same 'crazy happy" personality, plus it's hilarious how Sera is scared of anything she doesn't understand and Dagna is the exact opposite of her. lol)

Long version, as a Dwarven woman she can only be satisfied by those bearing a majestic beard, and given her popularity, the outrage that would ensue if she shot down 90% of the player base because they aren't Dwarfy enough for her would be too much of a massive headache for Bioware.

Real version, Bioware doesn't like Dwarven romance.

Bioware is just teasing us with all these adorable dwarfs but never giving us change to romance them, Varric with his stupid chesthair and Scout Harding with those ridiculous freckles, Dagna with her annoying adorablessness and Sigrun with her silly humour.. who would even want to romance dwarfs, not me!

Could you imagine that, sure we put in another romance for straight males... you have to be a bearded though, not stubble, full magestic beard, oh and we took away the best beard and gave it to an npc. There is enough whining about romances for straight males as it is.

 

Edit: Oh and how can I forget the Dwarven beaded ladies, my apologies. Harding would be available to them as well. Apologies.

She did save my ass pretty quickly during the dragon fights, at first brought Sera, Dorian and Iron Bull so much death. Switched them out with Sera, Vivienne and Cassandra and obliterated that dragon in a snap! Still not sure if that was her or Cassandra that pulled my ass out of the fire though
