I don't believe there will be that much SP DLC. Hardly anything at all, IMO.

minor bugs?  I beg to differ.  Inquisition still suffers from MAJOR mesh and animation bugs that hinder immersion.  They may not directly dampen the actual playing of the game, but they're extremely obvious and may well be just as ridiculous as the missing face thing from Unity.

That's not gamebreaking. Unity was and in some cases still is unplayable because of the bugs. Meaning you literally cannot continue the game because the bugs are so severe. Inquisition's biggest bugs were less severe and have already been fixed. Wonky meshes and animations are minor bugs and are present in every BioWare game.

I keep reading that this engine is notorious for being difficult to program with and is glitchy. There is a long portion of video gamers that would love to mod the Dragon Age series and they did so to a great extent with previous iterations.

DA:I, however, was purposely chosen to utilize this engine. Personally, I believe it was deliberate to allow extreme and exclusive control over any and all possible content that could be developed for the game. I think they were hoping the modders would find it too difficult to really do anything of substantial value outside of very minor cosmetic changes.

This, coupled with the fact that Bioware has been incredibly annoying in being very quiet concerning any real news of substantial worth in regards to future patches and DLC leads me to believe that the company, for the most part, will be concentrating on MP DLC almost exclusively as the game itself was originally meant to be MP in the first place.

I think Bioware is trending towards a MP environment with their games because their costs of actually making truly great SP are starting to become more trouble than its worth.

My two cents.

They already said there will be. It took months for the first ME3 to come out.  So keep trying and add more doom and gloom

Just to clarify I'm pretty sure Dragon Age Inquisition wasn't ever meant to be MP only, but that there was an off shoot DA game being developed as MP only before DAII was released that used Frostbite.  So when they finally got around to the Draogn Age Inquisition they borrowed/moved over resources/assets/code/whatever when they started development on DA:I.

First off the holiday's just ended not long ago , maybe give them a bit to get settled back in? Also as other's have said , Bioware has said DLC will be coming.

So be patient , it's coming.

Only way I am bothering with a DLC for this game is if it's free of charge.

Then I guess your not getting anything besides the free MP DLC.

Unity was unplayable. Inquisition's gamebreaking bugs made Unity's gamebreaking bugs look absurd, and Inquisition's have been fixed. Unity is still basically unplayable.

It's playable, but it gets really dicey at times. The bugs are still there, though, and they're pitiful.

Willing to wait for news when they're ready to reveal it. Pretty sure they have to release at least one SP DLC do to an exclusivity deal they signed with MS that Xboxes get it first.
Avoiding spoilers sure will be fun when it's released.

Hoping for at least two and correct some if the mistakes made in the main game.
DA needs some good DLC most of the DLC released for DA has been a bust across the servies as a whole. Legacy was pretty good though.

Didnt they say they wouldnt have another Awakening types expansion? But then what do they mean by Awakening type. I think we'll get two or three mid size SP DLCs but right now it's to early for them to announce anything.

that will be 40 dollars

50 dollars for the expansion + pre order extended DLC expansion DLC

you have to download to download

I'd honestly pay 50$ for a 20-30 Hour dlc. Plenty of other SP Games cost that or more and don't even have that long for there SP portion.

I'm sure there is DLC coming.  (In fact, the game needs some good DLC.  Give them a chance to do some solid short story based content, which they do really well, to counter the fact that the campaign in the game is actually really short)

The only thing I find weird is that Bioware went from being very open and chatty about their game,to  then releasing the game and have now moved into COMPLETE SILENCE mode.  It's odd.

Played it(unity) from launch my god I kept going through the floor of the world and into an endless abyss. Everytime I jumped from a building etc I was taking a gamble.
I've had very few bugs with dragon age actually. I play it on the ps4 and started playing it from launch same as Unity.

The difference between Awakening and most story DLC is that the former is tantamount to a mini-sequel.

I just don't understand how someone could be bitter about a game they've intentionally played to completion five times.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Mass Effect, not Dragon Age.

You clearly like the game. No one willingly does things over and over if they don't want to.
