From DAI, I'd be friends with Cassandra, Cullen, and Josephine. And I guess probably Varric since I can't think of a good reason not to be.

 

Dorian is complicated. I adore him and he's my favorite character, but a lot of the traits he puts out into the world I find incredibly off-putting. I love all the things under the facade he projects, but unless I was required to be around him long enough to see that, there's a pretty big possibility that we'd never hit it off.

 

 And then everyone else in the cast is a big no. Wonderful characters, yet terrible people.

Friends:

Alistair - He's funny. He's handsome. My first Dragon Age romance (though he did ditch me in the end because I was dalish 

Leliana - I like her, more so in the first game than in DA:I. Her careful cheerful nature was nice.

Oghren - Love his humor. He's just hilarious

Wynne - She's smart, offers good advice. Having a friend like her seems useful

Varric - I guess I like to be humored? Varric is one of the most interesting caracters in the DA universe to me. I really want to know about his backstory (purchasing the books is not really an option for unfortunatly)

Merill -  She's just really cute 

Cullen - Pretty similair to Alistair, though our romance did work out.

Sera - Despite her sometimes annoying company, I still enjoy having her around

Dorian - One of my favorite caracters of all time. He's sassy, funny and easy to relate to.

Iron Bull - Seems like fun drinking company in combination with Oghren

Josephine - I bet she has some interesting stories to tell 

 

 

Mweh/Probably not:

Morrigan - Cold hearted. I don't hate her, but we probably will not get along well.

Zevran - Too sleek. No thanks.

Sten - One dimensional as hell. I generally never played with him. His caracter is too obsessed with rules and the Qun and it's understandable I guess, but it's not really my thing.

Isabela - Pretty similair to Zevran. She likes herself too much to the point that it annoys me SO much 

Anders - He complains more than me and that is saying something 

Fenris - Similair to Anders. Stop complaining about your troubled past plz

Aveline - I don't even know why this caracter is so... uninteresting.   It's me, not you Aveline.

Carver -   This guy is so naggy. He insists on having a bad relationship and UGH. 

Black Wall - I never thought I would put him on this list. He's pleasing to the eyes, I love his beard but dang, that lie. I romanced him in my first play-through an unpleasant surprise to say the least, but I couldn't leave him. I wouldn't want to befriend someone who would misuse my trust like that though.

Solas - His romance is awesome. But I wouldn't want to befriend him , talking with him sometimes feels like walking through a mine-field

Cassandra - I enjoy her caracter progression, she's an interesting caracter but if we ever were to meet I think we just wouldn't get along. Conflicting personalities and all that.

Vivienne - Do I really have to explain this?

Oh and Merrill! She's a sweetie I would try to be friends with her at least another friend I'd like to hug and smother in the love.

Hmm. I tend to be quiet and shy person, especially around the opposite sex. I love men, but it would be hard for me to open up to them. So Solas, Cullen, Dorien,Blackwall , Varric, and Ironbull,I would be pretty intimidated by and have a hard time talking to.

I could see myself friends with Cole. He just seems so sweet and I totally want to hug him. Josephine seems to be a pretty open person and would be easy to talk with. Cassandra and I would bond over our love of smutty literature

I think Josie and I would get on like a house on fire.  She's probably the most...'me-like' character I've come across in the series.  I'm an organiser, not a fighter!  I can't see how I wouldn't get along with Varric, either, because he's so easygoing.  Hopefully Cass and I would get along, although with both of us having explosive tempers that could get interesting.  I would want Aveline to adopt me as her little sister and teach me her ways of badassery.  Sigrun and I would probably be friends, although she might get me into trouble more than I'm used to.  And Alistair would totally come over and play with all my dragons and legos and stuff because we are mature, responsible grownups.

Dorian -- We'd get along really well. I love pretty much everything about him. 

Alistair -- He's such a goofball, and I love goofballs. He has the best sense of humor, and I love anyone with a great sense of humor.

Cullen -- On the other hand, I also appreciate seriousness and dedication. 

Blackwall -- I also appreciate people who genuinely try to become better people and atone for their past sins. 

Cassandra -- Cass is one tough lady. I respect her a lot. 

Varric -- What's not to love about Varric? I'm a writer too, and I'll always appreciate a good story!

Anders -- Anders has a great snarky sense of humor, and he is hella passionate.

Nathaniel Howe -- Nate invented tall, dark, and broody before Fenris ever came on the scene. 

Sigrun -- She's so cute and loves to read and learn like me. 

Isabela -- Izzy would try to get me out of my shell and take me to all the coolest happenings around Thedas. We'd be like sisters.

Merill -- Merrill would be like my younger sister I'd try to protect. 

Bethany -- Bethany is so sweet and gentle, just a genuinely good person.

Josephine -- Josie is adorable.

Cole -- I'd be very protective of Cole. I especially love his journey to becoming more human.

Solas -- I respect Solas a great deal. He's very intelligent and respects curiosity and the thirst for knowledge. We'd get along very well.

Loghain -- The ends don't justify the means, Loghain, and you never owned up to the fact that the things you did for the so-called good were monstrous, like selling elves into slavery. 

Carver -- Aveline was right. He's a ******. He can't get over his inferiority complex, and he takes it out on everyone around him. Just a miserable person.

Sebastian -- Self-righteous and hypocritical.

DA:O/Awakening

Leliana - We could talk about shoes all day and go shopping together. I love travel & listening to personal stories as well as legends.
Zevran - Similar sense of humor. He'd be that guy I'd make sexual jokes with in front of others. (Isabela will join in, too)

Shale - I find her history interesting, and I'd try to help her out in going back to her roots. I would probably go on a scavenger hunt for crystals because they ARE pretty.

Dog - because..  I love animals, and big dogs.

Sigrun - She'd be fun to chat with, and we'd probably have something in common.

Anders - Similar sense of humor. I could go travel with him for some time and not get sick of his presence. I feel that he's one of those friends that will really stay loyal to you (before he goes Justice nuts)

Nathaniel - I have many friends that are similar to him, so I guess it'd be an *automatic* friendship if that is the correct word lol

Ser-Pounce-a-Lot - I am a cat person, and I probably would have been that friend Anders would give Pounce to. I would send him numerous pictures of Pounce being cute just to try and prevent him from blowing up another Chantry

 

DA2 Friends

Varric - I love to write and he reminds me of one of my best friends. He is the kind of friend I would talk to every once in awhile, but it will feel like nothing has changed and we are talking just as if we have never missed a day.

Isabela - She's hilarious and I can surely see us getting into trouble for shits and giggles. She would probably be one of my best friends, actually.

Merrill - I'd be protective of her, and she also be like a little sister to me. Merrill and I would be going out doing random things and talking nonsense while giggling because somehow we would find it silly

Aveline - Reminds me of one of my best friends as well, protective of me and watching over my back. Strong on the outside, vulnerable on the inside.  She opens up to those she really trusts and it is always a blessing every time she does because she sees you as one of her best friends as well. A little too serious at times though

Sarcastic Hawke - I'd see myself as feeling inferior to Hawke at first, and possibly even stupid since I wouldn't have the wit Hawke possesses, but definitely a great friend to go on adventures, have a drink with, and just laugh about what happened during the day

 

DA:I Friends

Cassandra - I'd feel intimidated at first, and possibly a little shy to talk to her. She is someone that I will admire more than she could probably imagine. I can always look up to her and count on her advice. I know she has plenty to say, and I love poetry as well as literature so we'd bond greatly over that.
Solas - He's the type of guy that I see staying up late at night, and I'd hit him up when I can't sleep. We'd have deep conversations late at night for hours and he will help me become a better person and be more open minded. I think we would both find each other interesting when it comes to ideals. He is another one with plenty to say and carries more wisdom than most that I know which is something I strongly admire. 

Sera - She'd be a good friend, but I'd get annoyed by her at times. She's the friend I'd go around pulling pranks with & laughing our asses off over it. I love cookies, too. 

Josephine - I need someone to gossip with after a long day

 

Acquaintances:

Alistair - He would be a good person to talk to every once in awhile, but I would get sick of his constant whining so he isn't someone I would enjoy talking to all the time lol

Morrigan - I know exactly what to say and to not say around her. I can look up to her for guidance from her experiences.  Someone I'd admire from afar, I'd be a bit too shy to talk to her though. I enjoy what she has to say at least

Oghren - A little too much at times, fun to watch when drunk. I don't intend on babysitting his drunken self. I do that enough with a family member.

Sten - Keeping my distance, man.

Bethany - Good company, but I don't imagine the both of us being close friends. She's that type of girl whose posts I would like/comment on social media and that's about it

Cole - Considering my past experiences, he'd be constantly trying to reach out to me since I keep a lot to myself & have been through some rough **** in my personal life. I'd probably get sick of it and be a little creeped out by it, but I'd have fun seeing what he has to say about others 

Dorian - Someone I'd speak to on occasion but nothing beyond that I suppose.

Cullen - Intimidated but admiration.

Calin: Confident, yet approachable ruler. Awesome combination.
Alistair: Sarcastic and brave. Another great combo in my book.

Dog: Duh.
Sandal: Enthusiasm! Another great "e" word!
Irving: Wise, but friendly authority figure.
Ogrhen: Best drinking buddy and makes me look like less of a pig by comparison.

Varric: My main man. Hands down. He's the best, although he took some time to grow on me.

Dorian: I love people who can be bothe sarcastic and serious as hell.

Morrigan: Love her, except for her inherent cruel nature.

Since I pick my friends based on intellectual capability and intellectual compatibility as opposed to mushy feelings, I would actually be really good friends with Morrigan, Merill, Dorian, Solas, Dagna, Finn, Bethany and Josephine. 

 

The rest would be normal friends or acquaintances. Characters like Nathaniel, Sigrun, Blackwall, Varric, Alistair, Aveline, Oghren, Zevran and Tal Vashoth Iron Bull would be friends I hang out with for fun whereas characters such as Wynne, Vivienne, Fenris, Sten, Shale, would be people I have a formal working type of relationship with. I suppose the second group of people are my acquaintances. 

 

I would be indifferent to characters like Velanna and Isabela. 

 

The characters that I would consider to be enemy would be Sera. I hate people who live their lives in purposeful intellectual dishonesty and intellectual bankruptcy.

Josie...I could learn much from her from a business perspective and she seems to genuinely care about people.
