If this is the "origins" title why not just call it "Dragon Age"?

Strange I posted here before...

Anyhow - "Dragon Age: Ascension" ince any other origins they include in the next game wouldn't be the focus they wee in this one.

The ascension of Morrigan...

Ultimate Dragon Age.

Also, it needs an obligatory Nietsche quote in every ad!

"Rargg... when you stare at the darkness, the darkness also...etc."

I hardly think that is the plan or they would have not had a colon in the name.  The purpose of the title is to alow an expansion f the franchise without resorting to numbers; handily avoiding stupid tites like "Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2".

Maybe they'd pull a Bethesda and name it after whatever area the game is set in. I dunno.

Dragon Age: The First Blight

Seriously am I the only person who really wants to know what happened during the first blight and ride a griffon into battle ?

Or it wouldn't be call Dragon age anymore since the age is represented by a significant symbol.

It may not be called "Dragon Age"-anything. Each age is exactly 100 years and, as far as I recall, Dragon Age: Origins is set in 9:30 Dragon. I guess that leaves a 70 year gap for an expansion to be set in the "Dragon" Age, but Bioware might not do a sequel. It might be a prequel. We could have a game set in Divine, Glory, Towers, Black, Exalted, Steel, Storm or Blessed... or something else entirely; that which comes after the Dragon Age.

The name of the sequel will depend on when it is set. Or, perhaps, they'll use a subheading like "A THEDAS Role Playing Game". Who knows! Go Gaider, GO!

EDIT: More importantly than the title is what the THEDAS team plan on doing with mechanics; what they play on changing. A large part of me will die if they decide to take aboard the Mass Effect 2 teams' idea that "removing is improving". The last thing I want the Dragon Age IP turning in to is a mindless hack and slash; else the Dragon Age we know now will be the last of its kind. Don't dumb it down, Bioware. Expand and improve - don't remove.
