This game promotes animal abuse. BioWare, please fix or I'm calling PETA or other hippies.

I'm talking about the situation when the key doesn't drop, the party starts to roam the area and notices a single dog, standing there dead yet still somehow alive.

"Over here!", shouts one man or woman. The group then gathers around the poor animal and starts beating **** out of it with everything they have - weapons, brutal spells and abilities - and listens to the pathetic squeals and squeaks of the poor thing. This torrent of violence, fueled by swear words shouted by some players* when they try to maul the dog with their swords, axes, maces and magic, goes on for several minutes straight, during which the animal is frequently

  • slammed to the ground
  • electrocuted
  • burned
  • poisoned
  • knocked out of conciousness

etc. Then, all of a sudden, the group leaves one-by-one, leaving the mutilated (but still alive) dog. There was no point of this violence. No bigger goal. Or was there? Could it be that this horrid animal abuse was the goal of the game? That this 'glitch' is no glitch at all? That you put stuff in the game actually fulfill your twisted fantasies, which in any civilized state is shameful and illegal?

BioWare, English is the wrong language to express my anger right now, so please translate this post into German and shout out every word - then you'll maybe get a glimpse of my feelings right now. If the current state of affairs prevails a week from now, then I get in contact with non-gov organisations that will expose this sick 'bug'.

* some don't swear loudly while doing it, but I know I do.

They shouldn't have swallowed the key.

I´d reinstall the DLC if it meant i could beat the **** out of an (undead) cat.

Seriously cats, stop sleeping on my car, and shitting in my greenhouse.

Bringing hippies into the game would just result in hippy abuse.

The whimpering noise that the dogs make when you kill them is actually disturbing.

If you ever came across the Hunter's Cave of Bear Horrors in single player... this theory actually makes sense.

Well, you know this by now already but not playing with an elementalist or alchemist with mines will seriously decrease the no key drop-rate.

The only thing you didnt do (because you probably didnt have it) was walking bomb it. I have seen several cases where that actually works.

But I can't remember the last time I didn't play as a Katari. I also get the feeling that Earthshattering Strike upgrade can cause the key glitch as well.

Not really, most Kataris I've met use Whirlwind, not ES. But again, you should kick them because WW sucks.

Joking, don't kick Kataris, I was kicked once just for showing up in a lobby despite having the portrait which kinda indicates I know what I'm doing (or I just thought so).

Personally I just resist the urge to ES last group of foes.

Yea it's not that hard, I still play elementalist, I just don't use the glitch moves on the last group.

Hey, I'm just saying. You dont have to do anything really. I'm not avoiding alchemists personally - but the few times I HAVE gotten the key glitch, which has becomre rare after I started avoiding ele's - has most often involved mine-usage. I can't really confirm this as it is just a theory of mine.

lol i wouldn't kick a class for whatever abilities they use. I've been in games with elementalists who spam the shiz outta meteor and keys drop, its one of those bugs thats as random as the RNG drops from chests in my opinion. I only vote to kick when someone take seven billion years to ready up.

Well... if you get the combination of dogs and firestorm... I'm pretty sure you are screwed like 80% of the time.

Like I said, after I stopped playing with Ele's I get a key glitch like... once every 3-4 days, maybe even a week before I get one. I dont think that is a coincidence.

Anyway - I'm tired of repeating myself on this subject by now.

And yet due to the event and people liking ele's i've found myself playing alot of games with them over the past 5 or so days and i've had the bug zero times. Like i said, in my opinion its as random as RNG loot.

And you'd be wrong.

It's down to:

- Elementalists

- Alchemists

- Hunters

- Kataris

Now I think about it, we had a Reaver, Keeper, Legionnaire and an Arcane Warrior in the party last time this happened, so I'll add them too.

I just find that really really hard to believe. They must have not used the firestorm at all, or not used it on stages with dogs. I dont take any chances with it - because there is NOTHING, literally nothing that annoys me more in this game than having the key glitch bug on stage four in a pug.

Well, not entirely true. I have ragequit games just because people pass freebie doors only they can open, just to run halfway across the map to get kills. It's such a bloody timewaster. That is my number two nuisance.

Quite a thick layer of sarcasm here. You are a comedian for sure.
