Yes, correct.

The easiest way to get 15 viandes on time, I found, is to pick the hunter character and go for the most simple possible hunt (that one that gives you viands instead of trophies).

Use the other cards to get clues when you need them.

You're talking about the part in the game where you're supposed to basically 'get a lot of Trophies/Viands/Secrets,' right?

If I recall correctly, the endgame is triggered by running out of Market Days, not by the number of Viands/Secrets/Trophies you have. Those items are just there to improve the 'quality' of the ending you can get by spending them at the Feast. The more you have, the better off you'll probably be.

Yes, as SabreTastic said, endgame is actually triggered by market days being over, though the game can be over sooner if you don't pay attention to your stats (Twilight, Rumors of Revolution, etc...).

 

If you have dawn you can spend it to end the market days quicker, I believe.

Dawn is being spend to bring more market days as I see. Edit: nevermind you are correct
