I'll make this short. The guide was missing a lot of information and some information was wrong, such as locations and puzzle solutions. I couldn't get any crafting information, not where the materials could be found, not stats, no locations of where to locate schematics and so on. The guide felt rushed and most of the information I found in the book was actually LESS helpful than what I could find on the internet, it was just more convenient to leaf through the book instead of get the laptop out. The guide was in serious need of further editing.
The concept art kindle book didn't allow for page orientation, double page view or custom zoom. There was a way to double tap to get a closer view but it's very limited. Looking at the art on my tablet or phone makes it impossible to see any detail AND what's more, when I try to look at the book on my desktop I get this message "the item is not compatible with this device". The art is good but the Kindle version is not that good, I would say it feels like it was RUSHED.
Is anyone sensing a theme here?
Who makes these decisions? I spend SOO much money on BW stuff!!! I feel like I'm doing a Charlie Brown impression with EA/BW starring as Lucy holding the football. Why I keep believing Lucy is going to let me kick the ball I don't know but now I'm starting to feel like a fool for trying.
The Game Guide and the Kindle version of the Concept Art book.

I was also pretty disappointed with the game guide - I buy these for all my favourite games. This one is by far the worst guide I have ever seen for the Dragon Age series.

I agree with your assessment and after looking over the code, it's no wonder there are errors with all the inactive elements. The marketing arm seems to have been far ahead of the development effort.

Looking at the physical art book is nauseating also. Lots of the concept pieces are really large and sometime span across 2 pages. The ones that span are horrible because of the book fold. The blown up ones give me an headache, because of the way of how concept arts are--quick brush strokes and photoshoppings. Looking at these concepts at normal reading distant (1 feet) just makes me feel like I'm looking at a blob of mess. And I'd have to roll my eyes' balls at 1ft reading distant. But at 2ft+, the arts look better (except for the ones what span still). However it's impossible to hold the book at 2ft+. It's quite large and heavy. It weights about 1/3 of a calc book. It's not a toilet reading (or looking) material at all.
The thing probably looks nice and all in pdf, but the printed version is just bad.
And here I thought the digital version would be better :/
