They are kill hogs, simple as that...
They want the #1 spot when they show room ranks....
Let em die.... just suck up the free xp/gold/items
and let them hit the fade when they go down, revive w/ door only....
They get the hint real quick or bail the room!
Hehe!

I only Leroy Jenkins when I have guard and know I can 100 percent kill everything I pulled. (Or I have stealth and get that glitch where the timer on the weapon cache/scrolls/whatever is going way too fast) And I don't pull aggro toward my team.I don't even pull aggro when I'm supposed to be pulling aggro. "Why are they all running past me?" Oh. Ignore this SHIELDBASH, mother fu... hush yo mouf! Jus talkin bout pulls.

I play as Necromancer most, so I have a bit of sway as to how the lobby goes. When I stop with status effects, DOTs, those people running ahead stop getting detonators and learn rather quickly that they're not as badass as they thought. Meanwhile Death Siphon, Ice Armour and Frost Step keep me at high survivability.
"I'll just meet you guys back at the next door."
Does anyone know if team resurrections at the door count as revives?

I only play on routine and only play pugs (you don't want to play with me, I'm average at best) and this can be annoying. But another thing I've noticed is that three of us will be going into a treasure room and one player will always rush off ahead and aggro the next large group of enemies, get overwhelmed and then one of the other two will leave the treasure room to try and revive, and get overwhelmed while failing to revive. Thus leaving two of us to deal with the rest of the round. It's like the sniper drawing guys in in Full Metal Jacket.
One lone wolf wannabe can infect a sensible player and cut the team in half.

Well... I am sometimes in the other situation. I die (not because I was going forward like a Superman, but just because in this game the assassin dies from time to time...) and nobody cares about me. Everybody ignores me and I don't even move to go closer to them.
I just laugh and keep looking how they need 3 mins to kill a giant while I would kill him in secs.

I surprised anyone gets overwhelmed in routine it has been a long time since i have stepped into it. But Dont the mobs only hit for like 2 dmg or something silly?.

Sins are so good at stealth you can't see when they go down.
They're polite like that.

I'm that guy that will sit there and watch you die when you pull that stuff. It's funny to me....you better hope theres someone else thats going to revive you. Seriously though. If you don't have enough people I would add those good and miced people I meet and stop pugging altogether.

I dont usually pull aggro (unless that is my job), but sometimes as an archer there are certain points on certain maps where you have quite a long vision range - and where there are many enemies that will aggro and approach you from afar. I call these areas archers lane of death - for obvious reasons as it is too tempting to go for the 20+ range of kill streaks. You get like 4-7 kills each long shot hit even on perilous if you are stacked ![]()
I have yet to die from doing that though. It's kinda fun to see your team scramble to get those kills but before they get that far they have all been eliminated ![]()

I always try to stay somehow "in the middle". XD Hidden blades to kill the chest-guardian and run fast with stealth to help the other one if possible.
People do not realize it's better to run away or come to us (people in the chest room) if they are in danger/close to death. They feel like they did a mistake and want to fight till the last breath.
If you do a mistake (mob-aggro while everybody is far away), no problem. Just come back. But don't stay there if you are going to die. Die close to us at least.

Some of the mechanics in this game I just don't care for. The enemy becoming stronger on a player death is a bit much for PUGs, considering pugiish behaviour is a big one. What the #*&^@ is with players running footraces through the map and skipping gold/treasure?

I think sometimes they need to feel: hey, we are useful too, look at us you mega killer-idiot; you are nothing without us.

I for one don't wait for the Lego/Temp
I'm comfortable and confident enough with the classes that a chaperone with taunt, is not needed.
Waiting for the slow ass guy who thinks hes a "tank" to initiate,
gives someone else the opportunity to run in and get the kill credits.
My Lego build has no taunt abilities, i keep counterstrike on cooldown to keep my guard up.
Lets face it, the game doesn't even need taunt.
Taunt is best saved for Holy Trinity games.

I like to shout Leeroy on open mic whenever I can running ahead as my Templar.
Let the noobs die though. More fun that way. That's how to show dominance. Nope, you don't get rezzed because you ran ahead. . . that doesn't usually happen to me on my Lego / Templar though, because I'm the one running ahead most of the time.
It is the Keepers that cast chain lightning behind me that I get mad at.

Really? I don't see it as a kill hog. I do this because I don't have time to waste, if I could solo from level one to 20 I would but I can't yet. I want to get to 20 as quick as I can so I can promote, usually I can promote 10 times a day. The only time I can't is when I meet stupid pugs, i.e kicking a lvl 1 who joined a routine group. Fortunately, now I'm powerful enough to solo routine, but threatening only with certain classes so I just go to private match.
I'm on vacation for those of you...
