Do you want to be a dragon?
doesnt have to be a dragon ;D
"I want to be a dragon"
Ugh, that line is embarrassing.
Memories...
sad
the menu music in DAI only hits you after you hear the song in game
origins menu music hits you in the heart always
Origins is the best in my book. Still among my favorite games of all time. I acknowledge the flaws that the game has, but even judging at the game as objectively as I can, I still think it's the best. I don't have much else to say, I just really like this game.
Inquisition comes next for me. It does a really good job of melding the good elements of DA2 (mostly the combat) and combining them with a more well crafted story and a more polished game. Despite my issues with how the game introduces them, I personally enjoy the main cast of this game more than the other two. However, despite being better put together than DA2, the story never fully comes together after the Haven attack (which I must say is a very strong moment).
Lastly, there's DA2. I've mentioned many times before why the plot to DA2 is generally broken and needed to be cleaned up. I was never upset by the idea of a story that was more limited in scope, on the contrary, I'd welcome the idea if it was done well. DA2 does show that it has potential in Act 2 and in many parts of the Legacy DLC, but the story is a miss overall. The combat's better than Origins, though. So, there's that.
I can't believe DA: I are getting lots of Game Of The Year Arward. The game is good, but not what I would expect from a GOTY material. That speaks loud about how poor the "next-gen" started,
I'm so disappointed seriously.
Because all people today know to mention when it comes to BW is just DA or ME calling them "best games".Seriously lol?
Everyone who knows anything about BW games know the best game was Baldur's Gate... then Jade Empire...SW:KOTOR as well...but nope everyone today knows only about DA and ME,ask them about Baldur's Gate and they give you dumb look like "What is that?"...I'm so disappointed because if you think that DAO or ME was biggest masterpiece of BW then I really...really....really am disappointed because both DA and ME can't even kiss a$$ of any old game BW made.

BGs were great but i like DA more than i liked KOTOR , its all a matter of opinion friend.

I thought this thread was about "Best Dragon Age Game" NOT "Best BioWare Game" or "Best RPG Game". Don't get me wrong, I fully understand how you feel, and I shared your opinion, but it's all a matter of opinion.

I know love, still I honestly thought from reading title that this thread was all about "Isn't it DAO so much better then DA:I guys?" because it kinda seems like that thread to me.

Oh please don't make it one of THOSE threads...
There is too much repetition in here as it is.
Too many females....
Homosexual agenda...
I hate Sera....
Origins is the best...
This thread is just asking everybody their opinions, what they think is the best Dragon Age game.
There is only one game in which I was able to run down the halls of a corrupt arl's manor in a bloody wedding dress, trying desperately to save my fiancee and best friend with only my cousin and a borrowed sword. Origins is hands-down the best computer RPG I've ever played (it managed to dislodge Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines, and I didn't think that was ever gonna happen).
Once I adjusted my expectations about DA2, I really learned to love the game. It's hard for me to pick a favorite between DA2 and DAI. DAI has a lot of advantages; but the one thing it doesn't have is finding out that my boyfriend is a terrorist and I have to kill my other friend because he doesn't like me enough to stand down when I'm trying help the mages.

That's what I mean...
As great as the characters are, my Inquisitor seems to be a bit... tranquil, in regards to bonding, friendships and relationships.
It's all good if you headcanon your Inquisitor to be this emotionless d-bag (which I did) but I like to be an emotionless d-bag that actually gives a toss about their friends.
Even romances... Sera. "I think we should get to know each other." Then proceed to question her like it's a police interrogation.
Cassandra... the depth and emotion in that romance rivals that of Titanic. Yet my male dwarf says "I love you." Coming across all meh... completely ruining the moment. Made me laugh though ![]()
Poll says origins
welp

I already knew it would be without looking at the results. ![]()
Honestly, I liked all three of them a great deal, including DA:2. Each one had things that I liked, things that I didn't.
DA:O is a classic, had my favorite group of companions, favorite LI, and a diverse amount of possibilities with all the different possible character origins. But, it wasn't perfect, I certainly don't miss those cringeworthy "sex scenes". Plus, I do prefer having a voiced PC personally.
DA2 was certainly lacking in environment diversity and definitely had more annoying companions than origins, but I still had fun with it. Hawke has been my favorite PC, I love sarcastic female hawke and it was kinda fun playing a PC that's just a normal person gradually rising to power rather than a special snowflake hero like HoF and the Inquisitor. I also liked the grey area villains that DA2 had, as no one was truly "evil", as they all had their reasons and motivations for doing what they did. You could even say Anders is the true villain of DA2.
DA:I had a wonderful, beautiful environment, and a nice host of companions to get to know. Plus, ya know, dragons. I didn't like the fetch quests or the villain, but there was a lot about DA:I they got right.
All in all, for me it is DA:O>DA:I>DA2, but that doesn't mean that DA2 was bad for me. The other two just surpass it.
DA2, DAO has too generic story and DAI is not playable so at the moment it's worst of 3.

Origins.
Great characters.
Great story.
Great RPG.
Great game.
Edit: Also great humor. Couldn't go 15 minutes without something hilarious being said or done in that game.
good to know the majority of the poll takers know quality when they see it

Good to know that this thread hasn't turned into a cat fight between Origins/DA:II/Inquisition fans... yet.
Origins > Inquisition >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DA2

Origins definitely and good to see that most peopple on this thread agree its such an awesome and memorable game
it had the best companions in the DA series so far, a long storyline with many decisions to make etc.
I love replaying it
Pretty easy question to answer.
DA:O > DA:I > DA2
Also, on a side note, I feel BW should have left the elves alone. They have creepy salarian bodies now.
