I don't have to like everything about the game. I came here for the characters. Otherwise, I'd stay on Scuttlebutt.not sure what you are doing here then
the poll is correct
... Two
. Best combination of gameplay and RP mechanics for me. Inquisition lacked RP. Origins gameplay is garbage.
Inquisition is an amazing game.
Inquisition!!!
Just finished it for the third time, completionist playthrough on hard. Love it to bits.
Inquisition > Origins > DA2
Inquisition.
Yes I played Origins, and NWN, and Baldur's Gate.
Inquisition
DAO>DAI>DA2

My love for DA:II has grown stronger thank you to a bug.
Whilst being engaged in an intense, bloody battle inside Bartrand's estate, Isabela decides to go insane and repeat, non-stop the following:
"You fight like my grandma!"
"I'll make you cry to your mother!"
"Someone needs a spanking!"
I love you DA:II.
thats one of my pet peeves with inquisition..how disscone ted it feeels. The fact the story is told over 10 years period , seeing your character literally grow from a peasant to the champion is what i find very attractive about the game, every Act from 1 to 3 brought something new but you never felt like the events were ever disconnected.
They certainly do bounce of eachother, in more ways than 1DA:2 through and through!
Enjoyed the fast-paced combat, the satisfying feeling of pummelling enemies and having copious amounts of blood fly everywhere...
Fetch quests were actually fun, often tied in with the main story itself.
Sarcastic female Hawke is by far the best PG. Especially when she delivers the most priceless lines... also appreciated how she actually bonds with the companions, feels like an actual friendship. Particularly with Isabela, those two bounce off of each other.
DA2>DAO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DAIDA2, DAO has too generic story and DAI is not playable so at the moment it's worst of 3.
Origins>DA:I>>>>DA2.
It will always be Origins with me.

DA:2's bugs aren't nearly half as bad as DA:I in my opinion.
Cutscenes were a bit slow, and sometimes the quests bugged... but nothing like the issues I had with DA:I. Sound disappearing every five seconds, battles going slow motion like a f*cking Matrix movie... talking to companions and having them just stare into space like they're on some hardcore dope. Weird banter cycles... mute for three hours then all of a sudden they don't shut up...
Oh, wait. I'm turning into one of those whingers. I'm going to stop now. ![]()
Origins.. Hands Down.. Even by todays standards, i prefer Origins.. Theres already so manby action games, why turn one of the only tacical games we have, into another ripple in the pond? We knew dragon age for what it was, and its a name everypoone knew, for good reasons.. Steady decline since...
PS: i felt the same for ME series..
ME1, epic.. 2, and 3 spiraled downward. Took and rpg, and turned it into an action 3rd person shooter..
Full disclosure, Assassins Creed 1 is my favorite of that sries, which is a very unpopular opinion.. All of these titles i played as they released thogh, and as they released, they were epic at that time!
As time goes on, my relationship with this series gets more strained.
Ideally, I would say Inquisition is my favourite. In a lot of ways, it is simply a fantastic experience. However, I dearly loved Dragon Age 2, and Inquisition goes out of its way to take a giant dump on all that. So as it stands, this isn't a question I can properly answer.
Origins was good, but served more as an introduction for me, and I never felt overly attached to it.
DA2's my favorite, but they're all great (and flawed) in markedly different ways.
I think it's sort of pointless to compare them, given that. They've all got a much different feel to them.
DA2 is my favorite as well. It may not be the best DA game but I enjoy the mood it evokes more than the others. Favorite music from the series is in 2, hands down.
Dragon Age II has the best character writing of the entire series; I adored all of them, even the ones that I hated.
Origins' presentation is the best in the series. The score is almost unrivaled, the art is unparalleled, and the protagonist was allowed greater depth because he was silent.
Inquisition is pretty, well written, and massive. It's what Skyrim could and should have been.
DA II gets my vote.
Now that I think this harder DA2 is best in all important things for me: Story, protagonist, characters, villains and even battle (rogue with two daggers is so much fun to play!).
DAO's Warden feels flat, emotionless and silent, characters are boring and unlikeable compared to DA2's characters (except Zevran), story and villain are way too generic to really enjoy. In other than DAO has much better environments and more dynamic battle but are these two really reasons to think it's better than DA2? For me they aren't.
sad
the menu music in DAI only hits you after you hear the song in game
origins menu music hits you in the heart always
I don't know. I let it go idle for a bit while I was searching for something, and then it picked up after a while, and I was like "this is what I've been missing out on?"
Origins did have the feels though, mainly because it was also the camp theme... and because I romanced Morrigan.
Origins>DA:I>>>>DA2.
Yup pretty much, would give a longer arm to DA2 though.
