So I am nearly at the end of the quest where I locate branka and to proceed I need to unlock an ominous door, however I am unable to open the shrine that holds the key and helm for the legion set. So when I click on the shrine nothing happens. I have watched walkthroughs that show others able to open but it will not allow me to. I have looted all necessary legion armor components from the previous rooms. I would just like to know what I can do about this. If perhaps I can fix the bug, or maybe a mod that will allow me to bipass the ominous door? Can I just bypass this quest and still complete the storyline?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Double check the armour that you have. Do you have the arms, legs and chest pieces?

If so, and you still can not go through, try going back to an earlier save and trying again.

..I think you mean the legionnaire's altar where you should get a key and Helm for the legionnaire's armor? Sounds like a glitch... if this is an xbox, just hit A repeatedly (known issue)... after you take the stuff the legion spirits get angry..
