I am sorry for what is probably a really stupid question.
Returning player from Origins. Used the tactical camera all the time. I am currently at the beginning of the game wondering with Cassandra. I cannot turn on the tactical camera for the life of me. On my screen there is a T button that says tactical camera which is next to the hourglass but it is grayed out.
Am I missing something or am Ireally that dumb. Does it not work in the beginning of the game? Once commands are issued will the characters keep auto attacking I hope it is that something different entirely?
Thank you
Tactical camera

Doesn't work the first few minutes of the game. They will "introduce" it soon, just keep playing.

Thank you so much. Once commands are issued, will they keep auto attacking unless I choose to pause and issue more? Origins was pretty good that way.
What a relief. Thank you!

Yes, the AI will continue to auto attack after you issue an attack command and move on to the next character. The AI will remain focused on said target until it is dead. Even if you tell the character to use an special ability on a seperate mob (eg. Sleep), or on a friendly ally (eg Barrier), the AI will return to auto attacking the mob after it casts the assigned ability.
The only time I've had the AI stop auto attacking is sometimes my tank will peel off his assignment if one of my ranged starts taking damage. Sometimes this is good, other times it's annoying.
I think it depends on how your tactics are set up.
I have all my ranged set to "Follow self", and my tank set to "Follow Sera/Solas" (archer/Mage). I may test out "Follow self" on the tank, as I'm having slight issues with my tank running around too much as my ranged DPS move from one focus fire target to the next.
I'm on Nightmare btw.

In short, it doesnt really work. Without a reliable view of the battlefield, detailed behavior modifications, or situation proactive/reactive ability perimeters the "tactical" aspect of Dragon Age is a thing of the past.. Unfortunately.. In this iterations, its just not viable.
