How it typically goes, with room for improvement on execution, yet done in much faster time than other builds and styles.

 

Hey Joe, you get the 3 FC's in the span of 12 seconds you asked for, detonating at s 08, recast at s 13 and  s 20. Necro FC is more or less the same result, except with much more, fireworks, boom and screen shaking involved with Walking Bomb achieving Critical Mass.

I wasn't hostile, I was talking about the build.

 

I don't see how OP can think his build is giving any insight on the game. He underlines that there's no Spirit Blade here, but it's not the Spirit Blade that make AW such a braindead class. It's visible in the video, it's a character that you basically don't need to move to win.

 

For me it's the same build as Spirit Blade/Chain Lightning/PotA/Cloak build. Stone Fist hits for big AoE damage and has a low cooldown, filling your barrier effectively. There's literally nothing to brag about in here, nothing to make guides for.

 

So I repeat: same crap, different flavor.

Looks to me like he's found a higher dps build that works well for the AW. With the skill trees for that class being so small, I don't think anyone clicked on this thread expecting to be amazed.

Was it that you think your playstyle is automatically superior because you actually have to move? Gasp, oh wait, I quantitatively clear faster without needing to do so. Don't tell me that you put so much value into a playstyle that you might feel compelled to feel inferior because someone else is clearly doing better without needing to do it your way. You can stand someone else having fun, right? You certainly aren't the killjoy at parties that you're being here, right?

 

For you, yes there is nothing, because you don't see what's going on or understand how it works, and maybe just want to mock it denigrate it instead of trying to learn. I do not appreciate that sort of behaviour. If you really don't like it, you could, you know, not play it, and not say anything instead of saying "Hey, you aren't playing my way, so you must be terrible".

 

I have objective and quantitative statements about my build. It goes faster, and there's interesting mechanics on how that works. That's quantifiable and not subjective to whims and opinion. If you aren't interested, don't blow your horn here and expect to amaze us with the many flavors of poo.

The difference isn't obvious at all tbh. AW with pota, fc, fs and sb could clear the same area in the same amount of time. I'm willing to bet on that

AW was available, Necro was not, as I stated before. Teasers require no explanations either.

Ah, but does it have to be? That's subjective and not required. However what makes that particular AW work the way it does is interesting for those wanting to learn. If you paid close attention, there's two forms of priming that I'm detonating with SF, and obviously the cooldown is much much faster than an amulet alone. If you had the 'what makes it tick' bone of curiousity in your body, you would be excited.

I think it is great that more people are getting into making build explanations, but I think you would do well to be a little less aggressive in your responses if you really wish to help people out.  Trying to talk down to people will typically give you the sort of responses you have received.

It works as a detonator, but is very mediocre as the damage is (about as much as non crit stonefist, and it never crits), and does not setup weakness or knockdown. Dispel / Transmute Magic works better than MB giving 50% barrier and removing enemy buffs / barrier but faces also doesn't setup weakness or kd. The CD is the same on all three, but the maximum damage and added effects are not.

 

If you prefer Dispel, I say go for it and replace SF for it -- or even CL if you want to be super fancy.

 

However, FC enables to approach and stay in CCQ due to invincibility, low cooldown, and area KD. Invincibility also allows animation cancels, getting up from kd, and recovery from enemy debuffs (slow, burning, shocked, chill etc). In short, I don't recommend it.

It is possible to mistake trolls for people. There are people able to comprehend or wish to communicate, and then there are trolls with an agenda other than that. I'll treat the former with respect, but the latter deserves none because it will give none. People want to communicate, trolls may appear like they do, but perform their agenda instead. Do not feed.
