It does not have timestop function, so just press pause (no TacCam needed)

Important Question: Do the DAI Cinematic Tools come with a built-in timestop function? Or do you all simply pause everything with the Tactical Camera before activating the free camera?
Pause on my game is the ctrl key. If you use the tactical pause, you end up with the selection rings in the shot.
So, I ctrl pause, press the del key to get rid of the hud, then press the ins key to activate the free-cam.
Hope that helps. Your key bindings might be different than mine.
Also, thanks for the compliment on the Celene portrait. I have been working at getting better at portraits.

I was just playing the Temple of Mythal, and I had this beautiful shot of Solas standing at the base of the Fen'Harel statue right at it's front paws with a red mushroom directly behind him as a backdrop. I was so sad I couldn't capture it. If anyone feel like attempting to recreate it...

So, The Fade again. I wasn't really thrilled with my last batch of fade pics (Champions of the Just) so I decided to really tweak the heck out of the lighting with SweetFX. I was going for dream-like and surreal. I don't know that I am any happier with it, and after playing thru that section I was glad to escape to spare my eyes. It is different though. ![]()

While eagerly awaiting the release of the JoH DLC on my platform, I'm using my PS4 to take screenshots of Solas in the Temple of Mythal.

So, one of the challenges of working on the PS4 is my damn Inquisitor, who keeps photo-bombing my shots. Case in point, the Temple of Dumat:

P.S. Not only am I jealous of all you PC players for taking such beautiful, high resolution shots, I now also have to wait for the JoH DLC to come out on my platform while you (sob!) can play it today...

Here's the troublemaker, now. STOP PHOTO-BOMBING MY SHOTS!

Sigh. She's looking at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. I wonder if Free Marcher sounds anything like English. I have MelissaGT and Lady Rhiannon Trevelyan to thank for inspiring my play-through as a templar-trained warrior who decides to enlist the help of the mages in closing the Breach.

The first place I'll go, once I start playing DA:I on the PC, is the Grand Forest Villa in the Hinterlands. The light is so beautiful. You can't see the statue I want to capture, but Talisa is posing right behind it.

I haven't posted for a while because Cities: Skylines came out and has consumed all my time (it's very addictive), but the Hakkon announcement yesterday drew me back (I've bought it but haven't started it yet).
Anyway, a few shots I don't think I've posted yet:
I'm afraid I can't remember if I've posted any of these before, so apologies if I have. Loads more over at flickr and/or tumblr of course. Plus stuff I've been doing with C:S.

This is a great shot of Cullen. Even with the photo-bombing inky.
And I wont be playing the dlc anytime soon. I'm not even upgrading to patch 6 until mods will work with it. I must have slower leveling and an extensive skyhold wardrobe
. Plus Black Knight and Older Cullen, oh and Dorian in black, and (oh dear, I might have a mod problem
)

I couldn't not comment on this, because Sera pictures are my lifeblood. This is wonderful
Thank you and welcome back ![]()
I've missed your DA:I screenshots, but Cities:SL was interesting to see. ALMOST made me to try it out (which would have ended in a disaster)
-edit:
I am on hold with the latest patch and DLC as well. Hope our precious modders can find a workaround. There is one for the patch already as far as I know, but it does not work with the DLC sadly.

My experience with city builders starts and ends with an unfortunate one hour attempt with some older SimCity or another. Everything went to **** very quickly, and I never went back. So really, this is my first. And... it's actually pretty easy to get the hang of. My first city has a population of about 55k, and no major problems so far. Progression is nice and simple. No natural disasters (other than the major floods you can cause by an improperly positioned and ill-thought-out dam), no invasions of massive robots - just good, clean city building fun.
It's had rave reviews, and Paradox and Colossal Order seem like a great publisher and studio to support. I expect there will be a lot of content, both free and paid, coming for it in the future. Plus, it's very, very easy to mod.
There are some wonderful visual mods for it already -- freecam, sun rays, ambient occlusion, lots of colour correction LUTs (look-up tables - they let you change the whole colour palette and mood on the fly), a wonderful Bordercities mod that lets you use edge detection to simulate Borderlands-style graphics as well as more outrageous things, and dynamic downsampling on the fly. I'm also using SweetFX with it, for HDR and bloom in the main. It doesn't have the graphical fidelity of something like DA:I, but you can do really interesting things with it. Plus, it's just damned good fun, I barely have time to take screenshots because I'm enjoying it too much ![]()
Talking of mods, I don't use any at all for DA:I, so I feel really lucky that I dodge that particular patching bullet. Sorry for those of you who can't use them at the moment.

I'm stuck waiting as well, but it's because I have to wait til the modders find a work around with Patch 6. I need my high-rez textures and eyebrows! And Skyhold jammies!

Aww, I love the whole dynamic you get with playing as a Templar. Rhiannon didn't ask the mages nicely for help though - she conscripted them. She saw them as a huge threat, moreso than the Lord Seeker. They were playing with very very bad juju with the time-travel stuff.

My current Quizzie is a former Circle mage: pro-mage, anti-Chantry person. I can't say it is boring to play with her.

My canon Inquisitor is a former Circle mage, aequitarian in her beliefs and ambivalent about the Chantry. You're right: it's hard not to be bored, particularly when your boyfriend is a devout, former templar.

The screenshots taken here are awesome. I wish I could be half as good as some here. It's sad that I only knew about the pause button until after I completed the game. I usually use the tactical camera for pausing and couldn't get around the colorful rings. Sigh.
But sharing my favorites.

As a sidenote, I tried uninstalling my mods to see if I could stomach playing her without them. Yeah no - I can't deal with eyebrows that look like they need a visit from a hedge trimmer...
I feel your pain. In my headcanon, my templar-trained Inquisitor tends to overpluck her eyebrows because she grew up without anyone teaching her any better. Given the choices available on the PS4, I wish I had access to better eyebrows, too...
