Help Needed to design some custom NPC's

As i am un-experienced with the NWN2 Toolset compared to others, I was hoping to grasp some ideas on how the following NPC's should work, what skills and Feats they should have and what Attacks / stats / spells etc.

 

We have

 

0 - Any suggestions for humans also welcome*

 

1 - Facehugger

 

2 - Chestburster

 

3 - Alien Drone

 

4 - Alien Queen

 

 

Whats everyone's thoughts, any help is welcomed with gratitude.

Improved initiative, because the mobile aliens are fast. Various levels of feats in the "creature weapon" weapon. Possibly darkvision/low light vision, I dont know if they can see in the dark. Probably immunity to acid since they have acid blood. Should definitely have sneak attack skills even if they dont have rogue levels per se. They might be immune to mind attacks since their thought processes are too alien for us to really comprehend (and thus take advantage of). Beserker rage with no fatigue for the queen (in case you threaten her young)

Kamal any thoughts of stats like health, stamina blah blah? i really dont know where to start balancing this

 

like what should a human be would be a good start, what levels should i use.

 

a thought occured to NOT have levels at all just set stats and skills etc,

Those are the kinds of game design questions you need to answer for yourself. You can "balance high", where there are fewer things and they can take lots of punishment, or "balance low" with hordes of weak critters, or some mix of the two.

 

Also, you probably want to figure this out before you build too many more areas, because otherwise you'll just make areas forever and never launch anything because nothing else gets done. You have plenty of maps already for a beta.

mapping is 100% finished for now tbh mate, right now im trying to finish off items and npcs etc

I'd take a look at some homebrew xenomorph stats. If that doesn't work, take a look at the SRD and use some similar monster types for base stats. For example, see the Demons and Devils.
