Dwarfs cannot dream full stop, no connection to the fade so how come Dwarfs don't have their emotional center removed too?
This just dawned on me 
Solas & Varric had interesting banter. I'll post it here if I can re-find it.
Somehow I suspect that Dagna had once dream, just once, when you gave him whatever "scrap" there is from the Fade post-adamant.
To me, the implication is that humans/Qunari/elves are somehow dependent on the Fade to self-actualize, while dwarves are not. Tranquility is a reaction to having something removed, so if you didn't have it in the first place, you're not going to be affected.
Clearly it is not better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all... uhh, sort of.
Nevermind.
The stone has something to do with that. All dwarves have the stone in them, even if they cut all ties from believing in it.
Because the way the dwarves are cutoff isn't the same as when someone is made a Tranquil. Different processes at work.
Different race. Things can work differently for them.
Because beards.
Tranquil are made.
Dwarves are born.
Perhaps Dwarves were once like Tranquil when they were originally cut off from the fade and over countless generations have bred themselves back to normality or perhaps a far different process was used originally or they were always cut off and Tranquil are nothing but mere imitations.
Because they're naturally resistant to lyrium and have no inherent magical ability already. The Rite of Tranquility literally cuts off humans from the Fade and in the process, makes them emotionless vessels.
Big difference here.
Why can snakes travel with no arms or legs but a lizard with no arms or legs can't? Dwarves weren't designed with a connection to or reliance on the fade.
