PS store isn't even down so it's not looking too promising.

Why would you assume there's going to be a patch today?

Because vacation time is over and this is the buggiest game I've played in my near thirty years of gaming.
That logic is actually hard to argue with

You really expect the dev, QA (lol) and release to be ready in a week and a half?

And this is one reason why BioWare avoids announcing when something is to be released (be it patch or DLC).
We will now have a succession of 'is the patch out today' posts.
As the days (or hours) pass they will become increasingly snarky and will likely become posts like:
'if BioWare doesn't release the patch by (arbitrary time) then I will (arbitrary threat)'
These posts are similar to those that grumble about when the SP DLC will be released
and why isn't it released already...
EDIT: I was being a tad snarky, so please take this as a generic concern, not a personal pop at the OP.

What i hope is that they began working on the problems during their break. The world doesn't stop spinning Dec. 23 - Jan. 3. Most people still have to work.

If you have family the holidays are a busy time. Devs are only human, breaks are allowed they don't work in a sweat shop... If February comes around with no patch or atlest a word about the patch I'll grab a pitchfork and torch with you.The only thing I expect around here is the small group of leet players that think their poo doesn't stink to keep alienating any new comer who dares to post a hope or opinion.

Someone's never played a Bethesda game before.

yeah, this game has been "pretty stable" as far as my recent experiences with bethesda and dice go.

At least their games are easily moddable and they gave users the tools to make such mods. The game's biggest and best fixes came from users. Bioware figured console players do not care about mods so why bother making modding more accessible to users with DAI. And now we have an extremely buggy game and slow ass devs.

That bold part there, that's not a problem? Because it kind of is. Is it a good thing that there are fixes available? Yes. But the fixes probably should have come from the devs, not the users. And really, having mods in MP isn't really that great of an idea this early in the lifecycle of the game. It's bad enough that the playerbase is split up between people who have uninstalled their DLC and those who have not, mods would probably make that worse. IIRC, the frostbite engine isn't the most friendly to mods anyways. ME3 just (relatively) recently started up mods for MP. And that's only because bioware all but dropped support for it and stopped banning for hacked coalesced files.
Also, when was the last time a console game had natively supported mod ability?

Well I don't own a Playstation but I'm pretty sure you can get a patch any day. The PS store update should be to add new dlc/games not patchs for already released games.

Wow... in my thirty years of gaming, I have a lot more buggy games. You must have not played a lot of games. I'm just saying.
I mean seriously, most of the games I had on Atari regularly saw me punching things from bugs, and I am not an angry person. E.T. is world renown for how buggy it was. Tower Toppler was another especially bad one. Joust was one of the few stable games I owned.
Then there was Nintendo. The entire console was a buggy design. Remember having to blow into the cartridges every five minutes? The rare and expensive Nintendo top-loader was the only really functional design.
People tend to have very short sight about "buggy" games. Namely it seems to be common to claim that newer releases have sooo many more bugs than before. It is not true, and never has been. It is simply that because developers can now patch their games OTA, it has begun to spoil player, whom now have realized that bugs can be fixed rather than just dealing with them like we used to do.
The only thing I expect around here is the small group of leet players that think their poo doesn't stink to keep alienating any new comer who dares to post a hope or opinion.

There are some here that can never be told they are wrong. I actually work to do the opposite of alienate players with my Youtube channel. If players see there is more than the Arcane Warrior and Archer in multiplayer, they may actually enjoy themselves more.
Yes, the world does not stop over the holidays, but you have to realize that before their break, they were working on the key glitch. They were having trouble isolating it. They were unaware, it seems, of the armour glitch.
Aside, I think you need a bit of perspective. I am not sure if you know what a game developer's job is actually like, but suffice to say that "working during their break" entails most of their job anyway. Especially just before going gold and after launch, a developer is working like 90 hour days. They are people, and it's a bloody game. Let the people enjoy their holiday. They have been working tirelessly to provide you with entertainment. Yes, there are bugs. Yes, Bioware is trying to fix them. The game is very playable until then, and is by far not the buggiest game. Not even close.

The only issue I have seen since I have started playing this game, specifically multiplayer, is that there isn't a lot of communication from the Devs. The lack of support only portrays that DAI will not have frequent patches and hot fixes as often as other MMOs. It is something we will just have to deal with if we continue to play this bug-filled, lack of updates game. I thoroughly enjoy playing DAI, but with this kind of support I dont know how long I will continue. At the very least, the Devs should have came out with a hot fix for Patch 2, within days of release, to fix the game stopping bugs that it generated. You shouldnt have to wait two to three months for the hot fix to be incorporated into Patch 3.

1) DAI isn't an MMO. 2) this game, along with most other MP games that are relased on multiple systems is not going to be patched often, thanks to the certification policies for the console systems. Not only does the certification process take time, it also costs $$ for whoever is footing the bill (I dunno if it's EA or biovar in this case). This means that instead of releasing many patches, they're going to release few patches that try to fix many things at once (and potentially introduce new things that break. I'm looking at you, not being able to shadow strike atlases). It would be reasonable to expect more frequent patches if it was a PC only game, but alas, it is not.The only issue I have seen since I have started playing this game, specifically multiplayer, is that there isn't a lot of communication from the Devs. The lack of support only portrays that DAI will not have frequent patches and hot fixes as often as other MMOs. I'm going to have to disagree with the bolded part, at least for multiplayer. I really, really want multiplayer to be playable. But nearly half my games result in chain host migration until we luck into being able to open a friggin' locked door to the next zone. I've given up and have gone completely back to single player, which I agree is playable. Multiplayer, I've decided, sadly is not. YMMV.
If someone can tell me a convenient way to remove the DLC from PS4, I'll do it. But for whatever reason, they made it more difficult to do so on that platform without removing ALL your other files associated with the game. I don't want to lose my single-player saves because I uninstalled all DAI files.

I never had an Atari. We had Colecovision. This is the buggiest game I have played. I wasn't using hyperbole. Not all of the bugs are game breaking but they are numerous. We have a lot of abilities and passives that don't function as intended or don't function at all.
I wouldn't care about any of it if I did not love the game. If I were selling this product, I'd be busting my hump to correct some of my mistakes. Not all of us are die hard bioware people. This was my first experience with them.

Tuesdays remind of the ME3MP Balance Changes, which had started on launch day and took place every Tuesday of every week for over a year, except for a brief holiday break.
What a difference between then and now.
