DAI has landed a bunch of GOTY awards so they're probably too busy patting themselves on the back right now.

Funny how less & less gaming companies are caring about putting out a product that functions properly. 10 yrs ago this was unacceptable....now days it's standard. Guess if you buy a Blu-ray movie with missing audio or a brand new car with the AC that doesn't function for more than 1 min, that'd be acceptable too..."cuz making things is hard."

 

It's really hard to argue with the last line of logic here. This is something that simply wouldn't be tolerated in other products.

You obviously didn't play Unity if you think Biowares bugs even compare. Unity was literally unplayable. Dragon Age's bugs are annoying at most.

 

 I disagree. I own both games from day one, on xbox One, and I had annoying bugs on both games. The things about bugs is that not everyone will experience the same bugs and consequently the same frustration. Also, Ubi was really fast patching Unity at least.

In Bioware's defense, I think they really are trying. I blame it all on EA. No concrete reason, just 'cuz.

GOTY's could have gone to games that actually work though. Or something like AC Unity that Ubisoft is actually promised to fix unlike Bioware who isn't even apologised over buggy mess called DAI.

They were content to let thousands of customers run into these bugs during the holiday break.

People got the game as a present and can't enjoy it. I still can't finish the Dorian quest.

They could have told us about a workaround or something. They just remained quiet.

That's truly crappy. Zero respect for the paying customers.

If its not even locked, meaning a month as you also need to go certification from Sony and Microsoft and due to their BS parity pc players will also not get it sooner. Minimum of a month atleast.

Yes but I have had same clitch with DAO which is quite intresting so I guess that's nothing unique in game business.

- I have run ccleaner

- nothing in startUp

- nothing running in the background and no virus scanners active either

 

- 24GB ram

- Win 7 64 bit ultimate

- GTX 670 3GB exttra cooled

- 1000W PSU

- 200+ GB free hard drive space

 

using NVidia 344.75 whql

 

All video settings to their max, 4x MSAA, etc. Fade Touch, Ultra everything, etc. 1080p resolution

 

 

I can play for hours with no issues. Sometime, during a cutscene, DAI just freezes, then the music and voices stop and I have to reboot or DAI does a CTD.

 

This has happened maybe 7x or 8x during my entire play through, about 100 hours or so.

 

 

Not due to heat

 

My system is cool and uses factory clock settings

 

 

I even turned off origin's launcher, applications, that overlay program which supposedly helps free up resources, etc.

 

 

I have the fastest internet service for my city and the latest high end modem too.

 

 

 

Badly coded game, meant for console's and not so much for PC......Patch 3 might fix this?

Meant for consoles? Nope they got that wrong too. On some old gen consoles it crashes every ten minutes- if anyone on here cares about that, then please sign the petition below. Cheers!

Bioware made DA:I for current consoles......not the previous generations and not optimzed for PC either.
