I like all the people on the forum that feel entitled to dictate the HR policies of major companies as if a video game is a vital municipal service like water or electricity. >.>
if i gotta work you gotta work
and if you leave work undone
you finish it
and btw I work in IT and retail and this my first day off since christmas
soooo
maybe what you are saying is that my jobs are more vital that bioware's? :DD
wow that is kinda heartless.
The crunch time leading up to release would mean that they would've gone without seeing family or friends for weeks.
Add that to working on the patch before Christmas and to the fact that long periods of highly focused work without breaks is detrimental to productivity and I'd say that the time off was deserved.
Even if you don't care about the developers has fellow human beings who've been working hard, you should care that they start back to work after Christmas well rested and able to continue with the highly focused work of software development without losing productivity.
Them coming back to work on St Stephen's Day, probably wouldn't have meant the patch was out any faster because they would've been too fried to be productive.
I pay money. i get what I was promised or i get my money back.
but you kinda cant walk up to BW HQ with a copy of DAI and ask for your 70 dollars back nor can you go back to most places you bought it from.
So heartless is completely fine with me.
People will disagree with that so, oh, well to that.
I don't care? EA doesn't care either. Who do you think was twisting Bioware's arm to shovel in multiplayer and make sure this game was crank out in time for holidays sales?
I didnt get my money's worth and I cant return my game.
what else can i do but complain until everything is fixed and working like it was supposed to be on release day?
