Edit:
as it stands we cake walk perilous even with the bugs. But we already feel god like i mean i use
Two heal on kill rings-20 percent
200 hp belt
15 percent modifier
And just a line of weapons inc bow of the griffon and death ward etc etc

Try to message people in the top 10 on your respected leaderboard, they would have the most promotions.
I would prefer to know what is the end game here i mean they must not want us walking through games in god mode can they?.

If Mass Effect 3's multiplayer was an indication, then they really do not care. ![]()

The pugs doing 'god mode' are using third party software hacks.
Speed-running perilous however does not require high promotions, but requires some skill. You also underestimate how long it takes to get extremely high stats legitimately. It is not a trivial endeavor. Most of the people that used to be on the leaderboard (that didn't cheat) have rotated out of the game and others replaced them. The people with around 400 prestige have about 100-150 promotions total and if they didn't cheat, spent hundreds of hours into the MP game. That is not a trivial figure that most players will achieve.

Yar we are part of that group and perilous is a joke to us but thats what I'm worried about. Where does it end i mean if we get 200 cunning then to say i am now immune to ranged damage and have a 100 percent critical chance.
Mmmm

That could be the case but at this rate by the end of the year over half of the people playing will be god like not by skill but by just simply promoting. I think we need answers to things like this badly lol.

There has to be a cap or something because he was still taking substantial damage.

They'll more than likely add higher difficulty settings. Wouldn't surprise me if they had a difficulty at some point that is difficult for 4 competent players at 100+ stats.
That sounds like the most Logical Choice but if someone hits 200 say cunning means there 100 percent Immune to ranged dps and 100 percent Critical damage lol.

I guess at that point it's solo'ing perilous on increasingly more troublesome classes just for the fun of it. After that it's time to move on to a new game?
I mean the mp here and in ME3 is about continually hammering it until you get all the gear you want and maxed your effectiveness and then it's done. Other similar games have an element of PvP which changes things up from stomping AI over and over and gives something to do once you've maxed out. Also, you get leaderboard position chasing which is okay to begin with but gets old fast when the top players are established and it's too big a gap to close by everyone else.
same old stuff with every co-op/mp really.
Personally, I know I'll play heavily for a while, and then once I can stomp the hardest difficulty likely drop the game for something else I've wanted to play. I mean I'm not going to play this game for ever, lol. How long I keep playing, depends on whether BW time a decent amount of extra content before I get bored.

150 promotions? Unfathomable to my mind... the game isn't even stable enuff for me to complete the number of required matches.
Maybe this is yet anudder RNG foul up? So if you have "X" gear then you can just speedrun?

Mm but with me3mp it took skill to play i mean remember the later geth lol. I played that so much just because it was fun and now and then i would go back to it just to have fun. But what happens in damp when you go god like on stats and cant get a challenge out of it?.

Yeah bud it was hard for us until we started getting the right gear.150 promotions? Unfathomable to my mind... the game isn't even stable enuff for me to complete the number of required matches.

I use on my agents
2x heal on kill rings for 20 percent
200 hp belt
15 percent modifier neck
And a range of weapona inc bow of the griffon and death ward.
Then we started on speed running threating then it got to the point where i could solo threating on multiple classes mainly ele. We are moving onto perilous now and finding even with the bugs its not that bad and soon it will be a joke again. But it takes no skill just promotions lol.

I've seen a few posts state that that all percents cap at 80 in singleplayer, but I never tested it for myself. Which is assumed it translates over to the Mp. Plus there multiplayer stats might give different amounts than the singleplayer gives, if not different effects entirely since Dex, Str, and Mag don't exist in Mp besides from Items. That sounds like the most Logical Choice but if someone hits 200 say cunning means there 100 percent Immune to ranged dps and 100 percent Critical damage lol.

The two games are LIGHTYEARS apart... One with a great 3rd person shooter with cover mechanic and deep customization, the other is a pretty poor DIABLO style clone.
Skill was walking into platinum with a mid lvl vanilla and making it to extraction... This game lacks for tactics. "lookout DC is popping out of the ground again!". There's no bull fighter style last minute Brute dodges here, maybe it's the horrendous lag/jankiness and the lack of any real combat mechanics beyond spam/cool.

Ok so if they cap out at 80 percent in mp that would still mean god like in only 160 promotions. Would be good if the cap is there as long as they add difficultys to match because if you only take 20 percent damage it would be boring. Could you imagine the gold and exp in the difficultys to match mmmm.

I wish I knew.
I agree ME3 was better on this front due to the skill side, even though I dropped it within a few months or so, as I lost patience with the RNG game while there were new games coming out.
RNG feels better here (easy to get decent gear, just hard to get it for the character you want) but the skill element is missing a bit, so I imagine it'll have the same sort of longevity for me.

God you just made me want to play me3mp again but what spins me out is this not the same team. Also how is it that the later game did not learn from the first but i have to say me3mp had some srsly bad bugs and problems.

That's assuming all the stats give the same as singleplayer. They could give .25 instead of .5, the only true way to tell is having many promotions to test the Dps of enemies after 100 promotions or more.Ok so if they cap out at 80 percent in mp that would still mean god like in only 160 promotions. There is your endgame, get 100 promotions on a class to test the Dmg reduction and Dmg buff to inform the community at large.

I like everything about this post. Yes, go play some ME3MP and it is positively refreshing I promise.
Where did this MP go wrong? About the only thing they remotely got right is the concept of map generation, albeit poorly executed.
There were accusations that BIOWARE had no plans for MP for DAI and were forced last minute like? I suspect a lot of the technical issues stem from the FROSTBITE engine used... I'm gonna start by putting my blame finger there.
It is what it is now... A disappointment. Much better to have generated something using the ME3MP engine for DAI, and have released it seperately perhaps?

most of us in the top 20 that I have talked to haven't gotten any single stat into the 100s yet. We are only flesh after all.

So what exactly was the point of all those promotions then?

If i ever am able to solo anything it will be by legitimate means. It took me forever before I could solo ME3 MP, I will eventually get there in DA MP.
