I would like to think graphical bugs like the SLI optimization, frame drops after certain areas (haven crafting), and the bugged skills would be targeted very very very soon. Like yesterday.

But to me probably the biggest drawback this game presents is errant hit boxes and targeting mechanics.  Those would take a while to QC all of the models in this enormous game.  Not even sure if thats on the radar.  But I feel most of PC mechanic issues, aside from UI would be resolved by changing the targeting mechanic.

Sorry to say this unpopular view, but I feel any major overhauls to the PC / Controls would come with a ton of new problems.  And for those us who either like the controls , don't have issues with them, or use a controller would end up suffering through a new mess.

My worst fear is that Bioware will treat DAI exactly the same as they did ME3: focus completely on MP and its microtransaction BS for their overlords at EA and virtually ignore the SP in the process. ME3 has all kind of bugs in its SP that linger today and all of the free stuff added to MP had to purchased in the SP. EA ruined Bioware just like Activsion ruined Bungie.

This is silly. ME3 isn't particularly buggy, and even if it was, MP wouldn't have anything to do with that.

Indeed.  I can't say I ever really encountered anything of note on the 360 or my laptop that really made gameplay a pain in Mass Effect 3.  In fact, it was one of my smoothest running games on my laptop.  Which still strikes me as odd.

Actually, MP's existence has plenty to do with it. You see, contrary to popular belief, MP always affects SP & vice/versa especially in traditional SP games that add MP where it's not needed (like in ME, DA or Bioshock). The reason is this:

Even though defenders of MP like to use the excuse that separate teams worked on the MP, that is personnel resources that would've otherwise been allotted to SP, same with the financial resources and, most importantly, the QA resources. Games may use separate teams to work on separate aspects, but they're all working on the same game, under the same budget, so one mostly definitely a affects the other, even if fanboys won't admit it.

And say what you want, MP in ME and DA exist for one reason and one reason only: microtransactions. If you honestly think BW fed us free map packs in ME3 out of the goodness of their hearts, you're daft. Foolish people spent foolish amounts of money on that game's MP & 'free' DLC kept them doing it.

Why would the budget be the same for the game both with and without MP? I've seen a lot of people make that assumption, but I've never worked anyplace where we wrote our budgets that way. It's an awfully stupid way to do it.

And for me the more pressing question is, what else will they do besides fixing bugs? Like for example changing some of the design-choices they made and that really many fans are very angry about! Rightfully so - I might add.

Not gonna happen, because it's working as intended.  They are not going to change game mechanics because some people don't like them. They are going to fix things that are broken, but they aren't going to change the game significantly because some people can't deal with change.

Yeah, and it doesn't work like that.

They look at how much more money they're going to make from MP and then allocate extra budget to make the MP.

At least, that's my understanding of things.

It could even go further. When a bundle includes two items with different profitability, you often see the less-profitable product subsidized by the more-profitable product. A version of DAI without MP would likely have even less zots in the SP than the current version.

I'm nearly completely sure that we'll get a patch in Jan-Feb, and that they'll continue to support the game with patches (especially for things that may impede how DLC is enjoyed, or reaching that DLC) throughout the year.

Perhaps a better question is...

Well, I guess I cannot really argue with your realism. You are correct, of course.

My mind tells me the same damn thing. But my heart still keeps hope alive - which would be the reason why I visit this forum in the first place! :o

I am a human being - Hope dies last! As pittyful as it is to cling to that hope ...

All of the bugs will not be patched. Heck, in DA:O they left several rather significant bugs that glitched out entire minor storylines. I think we should feel "fortunate" that the majority of game breaking bugs will be fixed before they stop caring about DA:I and move their staff onto other big projects (ME 4, etc...), and that's about it. Forget any small or medium sized bugs ever getting fixed unless they're really easy to fix and one of the programmers happens to be really bothered with it.

Dragon Age Origins speed run. That was done with a major glitch, I don't know if it is still in game but I have heard nothing on speed run websites of it not being fixed because no one has done another speed run if it was fixed.
