I am planning on buying Dragon Age: Inquisition for my Xbox 360. The thing is, I have no intention on paying for an Xbox Live account. I would really like to import my world state onto my game if I eventually decide to buy it.

 

My question is: do I have to pay to do so? Can I just connect my xbox to my wifi and import it without paying? And also, how do I link my Origin account to my Xbox?

You will need an xbox live account. You don't need gold (unless you want MP) to link your origin and xbl accounts. Download the origin client (on your computer) log in, go to add friends and there is a section to import. From there you can link your account to origin
