Can't find any top tier one handed sword schematics for my life.....Is it just me?

The top 5 schematics I have for one handed swords are two maces and tow axes ( mind you....304 DPS...so awesome weapons) and then number 5 is the superb sword of the Dragon which is non modifiable....and of much lower dps.



Now I am a practical guy, I will certainly equip Blackwall and Cass with the serpent rage (308 dps....plus 50 dmg of superb corruption stone) but aesthetically I am less than pleased, I muchly prefer swords.

Anyone knows where one could fing top tier one handed sword schematics?

Thank god the best 2 handed sword in the game is a breeze to find....

Use cheat engine to get it, don't farm. I waste 3 hours try it and nothing comes up.

Someone had a post in the combat and strategy section about good swords that were possible to get. Also, did you know that when you find a chest, if you leave an item in it, it will continue to spawn loot? Not sure if that's both in instances in open world

I scummed that place for 3 days...no luck

The best I ever found was the Dwarven Longsword. Over four games. The random schematics are incredibly annoying.

so far we have 3 tier 3 long swords that we know of

 

Dwarven longsword

tevinter masterwork longsword

split ring sword

 

all with tier 4 metals do 199 DPS...  yeah it really sucks

For that matter what the **** is up with the lack of decent headgear schematics for warriors???

You know, I've accepted the lack of sword schematics. Like so many other people I prefer swords not axes or maces, and greatswords not hammers. But alas, the axes/maces and hammers seem to do more damage than the swords. (except for Certainty and that elven legendary one, forgot the name) those are the only greatswords I know of that easily do over 300 damage.

And plus axes and maces aren't so bad, I've crafted some real pretty axes for Cassandra and some mean lookin hammers for BW and IB that not only look good, but do crazy damage.

Oh come on....

DPS doesn't matter as much as base damage unless you don't use abilities at all as an auto-attack tank and in that case raw DPS numbers are a little irrelevant anyway.

still...what's the base damage per swing? Likely lower than serpent's rage's

Ok, the hissing wastes is HUGE and vast and....bare. Where would I find the serrated two handed sword?
