Yes what I meant is that some units will spawn guard more than once making up for the guard being less than their health.

Uhm...yeah the issue seems to be I lack hafts to reach higher attack%...then again of course I am not 100% I have the best handles either

58% attack on the axe 40% attack on the serrated plus 28 strenght


Uhm I am obviously missing the best parts BUT....as you can see so far the difference is minimal



Also I do not use fade touched silverite as my masterwork

Even if they create guard multiple times in the fight, it won't be more guard than the units actual health. 

 

I mean you can look up schematic stats on the fextralife wiki if you're so inclined.

Yeah I don't use silverite either anymore, it's just what I had. I think Bloodstone/Fustian Velvet  is better for damage, and Dawnstone is better for survivalbility, but that's a different thread.

Soo found the dwarven longsword....and peeked at the tevinter masterwork longsword



They are so inferior to the other non sword tier 3 weapons it's not even funny.

Why does it matter?

You can breeze through the game with regular tier 3 stuff and tier 3 mats. The masterwork items are quite unnecessary.

I care that the swords suck compared to the axes and maces which I find aesthetically less than pleasing

But even with these "sucky" swords you can still roll through everything, even on Nightmare.

My sword and shield warriors end up being axe and shield warriors. I confess, though, I prefer an axe in Skyrim as well.

Cheat engine has a table that you can use so that you can change a random store schematic into the tire 3 Tevinter Sword/Grey Warden Sword schematic. Well...If you have PC. The only other way to get it is if you kill the Dragon that drops the sword Caliban. Also, I think if you made Alistair king (in DA:O), after Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts you get a war table misson to help Ferelden and Orlais avoid war. Alistar will give you the sword "Avenger"; it is a neat looking weapon (I think it is the coolest looking one handed sword in the game). Hopefully Bioware spruces up the one handed sword options in the months to come.
