Not sure what you mean; putting points into Constitution increases your health pool - and enemies having more health is just a gameplay decision on Biowares' part.

I guess because I am new to dragon age, I don't understand why my health is so low compared to the enemies. its not like skyrim where your level 13 and hes level 10, you destroy him easily.  right now im doing the level where I have to save the empresses. and im fighting the person. and the person is like 30000. not joke. im 600. the constitution doesn't get me to that point and that person is level 11. im just trying to make sense of it. I figured I was missing something.

Which game are you talking about: Origins, II, or Inquisition?

Are you a warrior, or a blood mage? If neither of those, I wouldn't worry too much about Constitution: it's not about how much direct health you get, but about various other things. Even warriors should probably prioritise Strength over Constitution, in order to increase their damage output.

Enemies in II can be bloated, but you generally have much better abilities and party co-ordination (even if you just sort of leave them running), so you'll need less. Their big health, while sometimes in long battles can cause an annoying fight of attrition, generally just serves to make the fight longer than actually dangerous.

Enemies have way higher health than you, but do far less damage.  By contrast, your health is lower but your weapons hit harder.

Why Bioware designed it like this, I have no clue, (I heard Mike Laidlaw allegedly said "gamers like big numbers").  Incidentally, you'll find similar problems in Skyrim.  Just check out Knevel the Tongue as one example among many.  Tops out at level 30, but has 575 Stamina and a damn high health pool as well.

I much preferred the Origins approach, where enemies seemed to be based off the player character, both in terms of stats and abilities.  That would also seem to be simpler to code, IMO, but, well I'm no programmer.  Maybe Bioware and Bethesda know something I don't.
