Isn't that a real good reason to rage on Bioware.. or am I missing something here?

Especially Black Desert 2 shows just how much we've been missing out on. Adjustable body models, adjustable hair (you want a curl here? Well, you can!), click and drag facial features.

The Bioware character creator is ancient compared to that. So ancient it makes dinosaurs go 'Oh, I remember THAT!'. We're still having plastic wigs for hair, everyone and their mom has the same body model (1 male, 1 female per race, this includes NPCs) and the way you sculpt your face, although it's gotten better, is just not up to par.

I just mean I think it's kind of a lost cause personally.

Just do what I do: spam the Black Desert 2 CC in every topic where it even has the slightest relevance.

They do notice, or make me want to believe they do :P. One of the BW guys/gals on here said it has been passed around the office... but I saw none of it in DA:I. I have good hopes for Mass Effect though. Their second go at the Frostbite 3 engine, it should be better.

I mean, I definitely agree it could be improved in some respects, but looking back at my wardens and Hawkes, my Inquisition PCs are a glorious improvement. I will say I kinda rose an eyebrow at the like, 10 or so 'bald' variations, but ah well. xD There's a couple hairstyles I'm cool with, and I love the facial features and eyes, so I'm happy.

Improvement in something that wasn't really good to begin with isn't really much of a victory. Don't get me wrong, you can make great looking characters in the DA:I cc.

But the DA:I cc is absolutely and utterly crap compared to this:

I think the CC in DA:I is mostly good. It's the best CC in a Bioware game so far.

Having said that...the hair and beard options are mostly horrible.

I have a hard time believing it's that much more difficult than straight hair. There are literally hundreds of millions of people who don't have straight or wavy hair on this planet, not bothering to design hair that remotely reflects this is just lazy. I'm no fan of Rockstar but I see them making an effort.

Definitely. I don't want Bioware to sink money that could go into content into purely visual stuff like a super fancy charater creator -- but  non-straight hair is a must.
