They tend to use concept art for posters and such, like the Memorial Wall in the Citadel where the refugees are hanging out.

The raloi were supposed to be in ME3 but got cut probably due to time constraints or something, so they came up with the excuse on the wiki page.

I'm certain they'll make an appearance in ME4.

I never heard they were going to be present. I'm not disagreeing, but I definitely never heard that. They are still so new to the galactic scene that I wonder what they could've contributed to the story.

Maybe they will be present in the next game. I'm kind of hoping the game takes place primarily beyond a dormant Relay(s). I'm not sure whether their presence or absence would mean much in such a game. I do hope, if they are present, that they overcome their need for envirosuits. While it's realistic, we already have two species that must remain in their suits at all times or die (unless they're having sex, of course; that grants temporary immunity to infection).

Yes, we were expecting then because of the Cerberus News Network but BW never said they would be in the game. Anyway, i hope they will finally show themselves now the galaxy is free of reapers.

It would also be nice if that old Shadow Broker concept turn out to be another race...

In regards to the Raloi, they would make for an interesting companion in that they are new to the galactic community. Imagine having someone who has never seen things other characters think of as normal, always amazed and asking questions about nearly everything. Though it could be tiresome (renegades can halt this behavior, while paragons encourage it), it would be neat to have someone who acts as we would in the same setting. They would also likely be very afraid of the galaxy, as they achieved First Contact after launching their first space telescope, contracted an alien flu virus during the welcoming ceremonies, and had the Reaper War happen soon after. Any Raloi met during the next game would likely be a mixture of curious and fearful of their surroundings, which seems like it could lead to an interesting character development.

I think even Commander Shepard would have crapped himself a little if that is what the Shadowbroker looked like. Damn that is cool and would be awesome to see that become a new race. Huge and powerful, give the Krogan a real run for their money.

Me too! Same with a couple of the Tali ideas too. I really liked the one with white skin and bald head. If not used for quarians, it'd be nice for a human-ish alien race.
