Are there any mods out there that can replace the horrible male elf model in this game?
My 1 year old son has a better physique. This shoulderless stick figure bobble head is forcing me to play as human and I don’t want to.
At the moment this is ruining a game I would otherwise have enjoyed and I am currently disappointed that I spent money on it.
Anyway, rant aside, are there any mods out there that can help me salvage this?
Yeah, at the moment, there aren't any sort of model mods. People are only just now starting to manage retexture mods, so it will be a while before we get any sort of major mods that replace the male elf body.
Your best bet is to A ) find a set of armor that bulks your elf up, and B ) use CheatEngine to disable to Skyhold pajamas, so you can wear your armor all the time.
Hope that helps, since this thread will be derailed in a hot minute by the usual suspects.
No mods, at the moment. Male elf model is an atrocity that should be smashed with righteous fury! Whoever came up with the idea that the model looks good should have his arms bent inwards just like the awful model

I’ll take a look at CheatEngine. Hopefully there is an armor set that can make it tolerable, else I guess I’ll shelf the game until the modding community comes up with something. They usually do a pretty good job.
@Zered That made me cringe and laugh at the same time!
I was hoping for the possibility to mod the race setting. Just like there was a bug before the patch that sometimes made the game treat you as a female even though you played a male, there might be a moddable setting that lets you use the human model while the game treats you as an elf for all intents and purposes.
