Well, I used my key code for cerebus on the bioware social site and now when i'm in game and trying to activate it via the EA account I'm getting the key code in use error message.

And yes I do have 1601088 at the bottom of my card.

I get a "Please wait" message and the game never starts.  Originally, I entered the Cerberus code on the code redemption screen on this website.  It isn't working. 

Would you send a code that will work please? 

if you already associated it you have to wait until 6:00PM PST which means 9:00PM EST before it will work

I entered my Cerberus code right out of the box and it said it was already in use and couldnt be activated again, and when i try and log into the Cerberus network in game I just see the Please Wait screen for about 5 minutes until it times out..

 So if I'm reading this correctly, wait till 7 pm my time/6pst, restart the game and I should be good to go with all the Cerberus stuff.  Thanks for the assistance.

Glad to see it will be fixed in a few hours (the CN code) god knows if the "Please Wait" bug that so many are experiencing will be fixed along with it.



How the **** stuff like this gets past the testing phases is beyond me.

NatChaos, take a moment to read the forums and get the general consensus before you start looking for support for your apathy to wrong doing. If you can deal with being screwed over in the name of corporate greed because you are a fan boy of EA that is fine, but I am guessing most of the people with the ability to think won't agree with you.



Further, despite my post having almost no valuable information that could help anybody (aside from helping my stress level by venting towards the company that is sticking it to me), you managed to post something even less helpful. So good job, continue to be underwhelming.

my card has the number 1688008 instead of 1688108, but I'm having all the same problems as everyone else, will the fix take care of this for me too? (My card came from the Collectors Edition)

this has nothing to do with the cerberus problem, but the system config tool on the launcher is reading my rig as a single core processor when in fact im running a duo. its causing my machine to run at 100% cpu and i cant seem to be able to find a way to switch it

Is it possible to play the single player game and activate Cerberus and the extra content later? Or will I have to make a new game to get access to the content?

I am still currently having problems with this. Each time I login in the game, keeps asking me to redeem a code. I already redeemed the code outside of the game, using the web site link. When I try to redeem the code in game, says it's already in use. Is there a fix for this?

No sir, you are incorrect.  You just said you associated it a couple of hours ago EST.  That means that you Associated it somewhere around 1pm PST.  Read what Chris said again, slowly this time.  It's not even 4pm PST yet, so if you have activated it anytime before now or in the next 30 minutes you have to wait until 6pm PST. However, had you waited, in about 30 minutes you could activate it and everything should work.  Note that "should" is the operative wording there.  They've had well over a week to plan this and still managed to botch it, which is an impressive display to say the least and this is not even 90 days after the Dragon Age ordeal.  It is readily discernible that those who make the games are not the ones responsible for all this peripheral functionality.

 if its like  the first game or dragon age youshould beable to start playing and add the content later but thats just based on the other games

I am having the same "Please Wait" problem. EA screwed this one up bigtime, especially considering that Dragon Age didn't have these problems and it was released just a short while ago...

After spending an hour waiting for Steam to decrypt my game, backing up my game, registering a new account (old one used a bad email address), registering all the codes, downloading all the DLC, installing all the DLC. Only to have it end with the freakin' EA log and "Please wait" in my face.

Way to kill my evening. :pinched:

P.S. So, what, do I just leave ME2 running in the background or should I just kill it with Task Manager and wait those "few" hours?

Read my post again, the "in a few hours" was in reference to the code error many of us are having with the network. I did say who knows in reference to when the "Please Wait" bug would be fixed.

Anyways all we can do is wait and complain meanwhile scratching our heads at how such a respected developer could allow something like this through testing to hit the consumers. <_<

For me it says my Cerberus code IS my CE Armor and Rifle.

I have 1688108 in the bottom right corner of my card. PC CE retail. I entered my code about 1 pm EST, ballpark. I still don't have access to Cerberus - do I contact EA or what?

Bout the same time I entered mine, i think it's safe to say, we should hold hands and dance while the darkspawn, i mean, the reapers fix the problem, and by problem, I mean the EA problem, drag them into the Deep Road and offer them as offering to the Brood mother!!!11oneoneoneone.
