This thread isn't encouraging. I was hopeing to find a solution by now, but I guess there isn't any yet (in my case the Cerberus network working ingame, but on the this site, it still is available as new content, but says my code has already been used (which I did, ingame)). Also, ME2 doesn't show up in my games list, although I can see it in my profile.

Is there a fix for the missing d3d10_30.dll error? The game will not start as the error message says that this file can't be found. I have reinstalled and still get the same error. Do I need to completely uninstall and reinstall?

And to think I bought this lemon 60 bucks worth of my game budget for a "please wait" screen? Great! Is it me or does anyone from tech support post here? Granted I didn't read the 22 pages of posts but given the fact that there are that many pages makes me wonder why there is a tech support forum???!!!

i believe this game will ose ratings wuickly, and then EA's stock will fall, sales will plummet, and they'll forced to fix the damn game, and its still bug ridden. plus i just got stuck between crashing bug on the abandoned station, AND i can't leave, lovely. i cant believe i waited 2 weeks for a game that hardly works. ME2 a great game and all, EA's buyout of bioware, just poisons Bioware's games, no offense. well, ive got 3 tech support tickets to send out now. hope they fix it soon.

EDIT: i fixed it! just open teh ports listed in the topic. or in your read-me file. i dont recall what they were, but its a firewall type issue.  also, i open them on my PC, not my router, so that *might* have a little to do with.  only one bad thing.  EA's now got textbooks response to it.

I bought the digital deluxe version from steam. I can access the downloads that came with that in my bioware account. I CANNOT access Cerberus in a web browser despite the fact that I have installed the downloaded content onto my PC.

When I enter my password for Cerberus I get the message: "Unable to redeem code. That code has already been used, and cannot be redeemed again." It was ME who redeemed the code (inside the game). I STILL can't access the Cerberus network online. I would like to access the Cerberus network, as I PAID for the privilige already.

I also note that despite registering my game here on the forum, I do not have Mass Effect 2 listed on the "My Games" tab on the left of the forum screen. This is fairly serious here, I'd like to access Cerberus online. When the game opens the browser window it'd be nice to be able to get the access I paid for.

Having exactly same problem except that my copy is a retail CE and i activated my cerberus card online.
Guess all the CE codes are just screwed up, how hard can it be?
Also i cant see Mass Effect 2 in my games :l

I actually got to play some this weekend, I encountered the hoving in air bug several times, only once though had to reload. I also can't finish the quest about the asari stealing a money chip from a volo, it says talk to c-sec officer. Which I have done and all c-sec officers not just the one with them.



I discovered something strange about addon authorization. Offline they don't work, yet if I have BOTH my LAN and Wireless activated they do... MY interent is through wireless and when LAN is turned on I don't truelly have internet access/can't browse or such... Have to get in game then disable wireless... (because I prefer only to be online when I have to be)

i especially dont see the cerberus network and the dlc when i look here in my profile or under mass effect / dlc - it just says i can redeem a code or buy - allready did that and do have acess to cerberus, but you should also be able to look at it here in the profile...

If you bought the Collectors Edition, like I did, the Cerberus Network is unavailable due to a glitch. They are 'working' on a fix. I hope to see it before Mass Effect 3 comes out.

Though my inclination is to be exasperated and demand "how hard can it be?!", that would probably be ameliorated if they'd give a status report.  If nothing else, it's good PR; at least compared to the bad PR of a company that gets uppity about piracy and then not actually giving its customers what they've paid for... arguably a tad melodramatic, but it doesn't exactly encourage honesty if they don't lead by example.

I need help with my Mass Effect 2 PC version (steam). When I start Mass Effect 2 and connect to the Cerberus Network, a message pops up (Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log into the Cerberus Network with the account used to purchase the DLC.). I know I'm connected to the Cerberus Network because both computers are open in the main menu. I was able to download the Blood dragon armor DLC through my registered game promotions, but I don't see the free DLC such as Zaeed or the rest. What's going on? Anyone else going through this?

I believe that is related to various kinds of virtual drive software you are running, that all has to be shut down before Mass Effect 1 or 2 will run, but I am not certain.  Wasn't it already mentioned here in this thread?

Seems, that a workaround for the "Connection to ME 2 server has been interrupted or has timed out."-issue is to uninstall the firewall. Used Comodo before, simply deactivating didn't help, but uninstalling it did the trick.
