See this thread for the links to install and activate ME1 Bring Down the Sky.  The website was rearranged, but the game still points to some old links.

Dont have time to buzz thru a few hundred posts. I used my code to download the DLC after the install. Now when entering the game and trying to connect to the Cerberus Network. I am being prompted to redeem the code again. Which says its already in use.

The safest versions of games are the console versions in my opinion, because the pc versions can be unpredictable.

How about the selecting doors/terminals/etc issues along with slow mouse response in mini games? It's so tedious trying to find the right angle to have a terminal high light long enough to select it or to be locked in a room where the door wont select at all.

I'm having trouble with my Blood Dragon Armor code. I don't know why, but I have two Bioware accounts (one I made for Dragon Age before I got ME2, forgot I had one for DAO, and made another one for ME2) and all my ME2 DLC's are on one and the Blood Dragon Armor is on the other. I downloaded and installed the BDA DLC, start ME2, and it says 'Unable to authorize listed DLC. Please log in with the account that purchased the DLC: Blood Dragon Armor.' So I deleted my DAO profile and tried to redeem the code on the ME2 profile and said my code was already in use blah blah blah. Help?

Edit:  And while I'm at it, I can't download any of the Dragon Age DLC that came with my pre-order.  Warden's Keep, Shale, and Blood Dragon Armor.

You need to get EA Support to transfer content/merge accounts, so that all your content is on the same account.  Deleting your DAO profile didn't affect the underlying EA account, your content is still associated with it.

Hi.

This is for Mass Effect 2.

After startup, and clicking the Play option, I can only see a black screen. There is sound, and a single cursor, but nothing more. Please help.

BTW, I am reading the the Mass Effect Tech Support Board, but cannot find a "Search Button" to search for similiar bug.

For whatever reason, on the day that ME2 was released, all site pages that had a button for a link to the (rather primitive) search function were amended to remove that button!   (Edit:  I wrote that at about noon, and now the search feature is back ib the pages.  It's still idebntified only by a magnifying glass, and the member search that confuses the noobs so much, currently hasn't been reactivated.)

That being said, go to the second stickied message in this forum and follow the bottom half instructions there to requesting assistance from fellow gamers.

I pre-ordered me2 put in all the activation keys and it worked fine got all the DLC the first day. Problem I am having now is that in game the Cerberus Network laptop opens but I see no where I can download the new DLC and when I try to get the DLC from the site it wants me to pay for another key for Cerberus Network or activate the one I've already submitted. Any help would be Appreciated.

Hey guys i'm new to this game so forgive my ignorance; I was wondering if there was any way I could play the game without have to put the game into my computer every-time. I tried to put it into my Steam account but since I didn't purchase it from them and got it from BB instead i'm not sure if thats possible. If anyone knows how I can play my game without putting in the disc please let me know, thanks.

PS: its cause I got kids who use this computer too and I'm afraid they're gonna break the disc.

I'm getting very confused here, so forgive me if I'm asking something that has already been asked or answered.



I'm trying to play ME2 with the three downloads, Normandy Crash Site, Zaeed and the Cerberus Armor thing, on a PC. Downloaded them on this site, through my account panel and installed just fine. Problem is that I can't connect to the Cerberus network in-game. I get a message saying "Error: Communication with the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or has timed out. Please try again later."

Disabling my firewall didn't help and I won't uninstall my Internet Security package so please don't suggest that. Mass Effect 2 is set as a trusted application, so there's no restrictions.

did you try try opening up the game, going intot he options, turning off auto-login. then restart the game, and the login prompt should come up at you. enter your bw social credentials in there


I just bought my copy of the CE and have the same problem... I tried deactivating auto login, but it didn't help, I still can't access Cerberus Network..

I have the same problem, but only with my Cerberus Network key. I could get my CE stuff, but I couldn't get Cerberus to work, I receive the exact same message in-game. If I try to redeem my Cerberus code here on this page then it just simply doesn't accept it... Any DEV here btw who could help us or we're just being ignored?

I have a question, it doesn't really pertain to the recent topics but I don't know where else to ask.

Is there any way to change your user name? (the name that appears above the picture to the left)
