Have your defective codes-the email of your account- and the birthday that's on that account ready.
I guess EA isn't all bad, the guy I chatted with was very nice and solved my problems.

When I go the the DLC section of Mass Effect 2 it says "Some versions of Mass Effect 2 contain a redemption code to obtain Cerberus Network activation. Connect now and receive bonus... 1200 BW Points | 1200 Xbox Live Points".
1. I already used my Cerberus code, shouldn't it say that I am logged instead of that message?
2. I have 0 Bioware points. Shouldn't I have 1200BW Points for using the Cerberus code? (I have the Collector's Edition of ME 2)
Sorry if this has already been discussed and solved.

My problem is, that i created two accounts, one to Dragon Age CE, and one to Mass Effect 2 CE. Can I (or a admin or moderator) bind the two account? Because i can't use some game promotions... (Blood Dragon Armor)
I suggest going to help.ea.com and there use the live chat. I have a step-by-step tutorial on how to use two pages back on this very same forum. They're usually helpful and nice enough to help you.

I purchased a collectors edition PC version of ME2, this after playing and beating it on my xbox360 (DLC codes work for both xbox and pc - and fyi why i would get a PC version when i have the xbox? it's for my PC at work !
Went to LIVE chat **** must have popups turned off, as that disconnected me immediately after 30 mins of waiting ****
the live chat person TEMJEM O. was very helpful. Asked for my registration info and the codes for the DLC/CERB, and after a brief moment informed me that all codes were active now. I logged into my bioware account and checked before we disconnected, and DLC content was there. I booted up ME2 and Cerberus network was active.
Live chat was the way to go.

So yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. All my codes show up on this site, I have a dual-core CPU, and I'm running as admin on Win 7 and XP.

Well, I reinstalled Win XP onto another partition of my Computer, installed ME2 on that, and tried it out and I'm still stuck on the 'please wait' screen.

Don't worry. It is registered under your account, it shows for your profile. I had the same problem, it does not appear under registered games the same as DAO, but it is there under your profile.
The error message you got was the same as mine. Your code is probably bad. I got the same message. EA had to activate it for me.

besides cerberus network,i also cannot get my collecter armor,IE shows:cannot reconize my redeem code
I'm having the exact same problems right now.
In-game, after typing in my Cerberus Network code, I get the error "Communication with the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or timed out. Please try again later."
Also, on social.bioware.com's code redemption page, neither the Cerberus Network code, or my Collector's Armor code work.
Whee. <_<
Having the same issue here as well, come on BioWare/EA you've had how long to work this out?
I have the 1688108 card; looks like they didn't solve the Collector's Edition fiasco after all.
/sigh
I think it's worth noting that I also have one of those 1688108 cards. Good work on the script that automatically applies Cerberus Network membership to those who punch in their Collector Armor codes, guys! Guess what? The Collector Armor codes don't work, either.
Anyways, I figured I'd check up on this before work this morning, and damn. It's the same situation as yesterday. You'd think EA and Bioware would at least make the error message less generic if they're having problems on their end. Oh yeah, this is EA I'm talking about. The same EA I said I'd never buy a game from again... Until they f***ing bought Bioware.
You know, I definitely try to support the companies who make great games. Right now, though, I'm wondering why I didn't just grab one of the zillions of torrents out there. If extra bundled pieces of the game at retail w/DLC incentives are EA's ways of making PC versions worth buying, they need to make damn sure the product works before wasting their customer's time.
I want to support the guys at Bioware as I have been since 2002 (yeah, I jumped on board with NWN, and not BG), but EA does what EA does. It's a damn shame they bought you out. I can't remember these kinds of problems with Atari publishing.
Venting makes me feel better. <3 Bioware.
Having the EXACT same issue and also feel the way you do about the torrents. Perhaps on the next release I'll just cut out all the headaches, get one of the "gazillion" torrents, then send in a donation to Bioware via personal check for 100% of the retail price. That way I don't have to deal with the bs that EA puts me through everytime, and Bioware gets my support where it counts. In their pocket book.

We’re
aware that some PC Collectors’ Edition Cerberus Codes are not working.
If you have the number 1688108 on the bottom right of your Cerberus
Network card and have not associated it to your EA Online account at
4:00 PM PST your codes will be fully functional. If you already have
associated it to your EA Online account at 6:00 PM PST you can restart
the game and your Cerberus Account will be available automatically!
I dont know what the time of day has to do with anything but I do have the 1688108 number on my card. I have attempted the following.
PC Online Redemption
o Go to the Code Redemption page here: http://social.bioware.com/redeem/
o
Sign in with your existing account or create a new account (make sure
to sign in using the exact same account that you used on
social.bioware.com)
o Enter the Cerberus code
o Upon successful redemption load the game and login
EVERY Single time I attempt the code redemption with wither my Cerberus Network card OR the Collector armor card I get the following.
Code not recognized, please check that you have entered it correctly.
Am I farther ahead just phoning? And where can I find the phone number? I keep getting shuffled over to the EA Support Home page and they only seem to have FAQ's.
