You can only change your email address on your account to one that is not already associated with another EA account.  You can do so at https://profile.ea.com/myprofile.do logging in with your email address and password from here, and click on Update My Info.

If the email address you want to switch too is already associated with another EA account, you need to talk to EA support to make sure all the content is associated with the email address you want to use.

I have the code 1688118 on my promo code and it is not working.



Is it going to be up soon?I see it stickied that the code not working is a known issue.

Hello, starting from the moment i installed the game 2 weeks ago, I have gotten an error saying that the code is invalid all the time. I do NOT have the 1688118 code in the bottom right corner. I am _very_ sure that I have typed the code right. Also tried all different possibilities in the one string of the code where I wasn't sure which letter it is. Still not working. I did not have a EA-account before and created this account for that reason. Thanks for the answers!

I am having this same problem.  I do have the cerberus code with 1688108, but I see where they mentioned they are working on a fix for the timed out page.  However, non of my other promo codes are working, ie..the collector's ed armor and rifle.  Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. tons of people are having this problem, that is why this thread is so long.  read from 20 on.  EA has to fix it.

Been playing the battlefield demo fine on steam all week.

Just completed Mass effect 2 days ago and was on my 2nd playthrough last nite. Log on today and I can't log into the Cerberus network at all. Bummed cuz I can't continue as all my save games have DLC content Bah!

Also lost all my extras for Dragon age so i'm rekoning Bioware's system upgrades have thrown a wobbly.

OK everyone, I did the live chat thing and told the guy that my codes didnt work. He asked me for the codes. I gave him my cerberus code and my CE armor code. He activated my cerberus for me and gave me a new code.



I tested it out and the code worked, and the cerberus stuff is working for me and im downloading everying right now.



I suggest everyone with that issue to do the same.

log into that, wait in the que and when youretime comes (didnt take me too long) then you will get a tech dude to chat with and tell him your codes arent working for mass effect, then he will ask for the codes to make sure youre not just trying to get them for free.



Fixed my not being able to connect to cerberus right on the spot and gave me a new CE DLC code that worked.

I am having the same problem that so many other EA/Bioware customers are having. I tried to redeem my Cerberus code several times but got server problem messages. Now I get messages saying my code is invalid. I'll try the chat link.

Just for reference - I opened a trouble ticket over three weeks ago with EA because of log in issues with DAO and still no response. Is this any way to treat paying customers?

Ya these issues really suck. support fixed my issues and now im having a blast with ME 2 but we shouldnt be having these issues to begin with.

I was in the queue at support.ea.com/chat for over 30 minutes. It was down to 1 person ahead of me and the next thing I see is my session is canceled!

I have started another session and it looks like I have another 30 minute wait...

Thanks for trying to help.  Each time I try this though the momnet it gets down to 1st in the Queue it says the chat has been cancled.  Going to try phoning with one of the customer support numbers.  Too bad it isnt a 1-800. :(

Well after close to 3 hours of having live chats cancled I finally got through. 

Unfortunately it was 5 minutes after I got my situation fixed by waiting 40 minutes on the phone. Posted Image

Reading up on news, it appears that EA investors are upset with John Riccitiello, CEO of EA, because they aren't making the money that he projected. I wonder why? In the future, I will do my part to not give them any money. Maybe they'll eventually shape up.

yea my codes still dont work. they told me to wait 24 hrs. its been a couple days now. going back to chat again tomorrow I guess to see if I can get my DLC finally

Wow, preorder the PC CE and neither the armor and weapon nor the Cerb codes work and their network always appears down trying to enter the code in game (which btw the cards that come with the game say to go to EA's site, not in the game nor at Bio's site to enter the codes), and the solution is to mess with EA Support (sorry, EA is just boo)? Bioware are you losing your way. Sad to say from a fan since the MDK2 days who owns every title they have made. :(

lol. Not sure if that was intended to be funny, but it is.

Anyway, long wait only to get dropped from chat. Tried again this morning and got through. Never did find a link to the chat so thank goodness someone shared the direct address. One key worked for all issues even though the game came with two separate keys. Pain.

Just talked to support through the life chat system and they solved the problem. Below is the chat text. i've replaced my name with Me, the codes with X's to protect the codes and my email address for obvious purposes.



Chat Text:

Sean: Hi, my name is Sean. How may I help you?

Me : hi there.. i bought mass effect 2 yesterday and none of the redeemtion codes work

Me : i bought the collector's edition

Me: collector's edition code XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and cerberus network code XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.. when i put in these codes i get an error

Sean: What is the problem you are getting with the codes?

Me: says code invalid

Me: when i put the cerberus code in game it says timeout connecting to server

Sean: On which platform are you running the game?

Me: pc

Me: it says on the forum that tons of people are having the same issue

Sean: I'm sorry for the delay.

Sean: Actually the servers are currently down.

The thing I don't understand is - shouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) to figure out which codes that shipped out are bad and fix it on the server end rather than have tech people helping tons of angry customers?
If this were day one I could see that they did not have a chance yet, but we are more than 3 weeks since release!

This worked for me as well with the live chat, they activated my cerberus network and gave me a new code for the collectors edition content :D Thanks for that post!:D
