I'm having problems accessing the locker to get the gun...it says to use the (space) to get pistol but it won't respond in the the game...as you can see there is nothing wrong with my space bar here

If you recently patched your game try going to options and resetting your key bindings back to default.

Somejah made an assumption before answering, one that I do not tend to follow. Without information,SpaceWulf69 wrote...

there is no way to know anything at all about your situation. This game is far more intolerant of anyone
who attempts to ignore the video device minimum requirements than most any other game around. If
you have a poor, slow video device, the space bar cannot work, period. The feedback timing is so far
off that the interaction with the environment isn't possible.

Ehm, can anyone tell me what code I need to enter so I could register ME2 on this account? I tried 2(Cerberus and CD-key) cdes and it doesn't seem to work.
(I didn't read the whole thread cause I'm lazy, so sorry if this is been asked before.)

6. Once in that Directory, now you can open up the hosts file with Notepad, once you have done this you now need to delete every line in that file which has the word EA in it and also starts with 127.
-somejah-
Would this imply deleting all lines containing "ea" - i.e. all the "search" lines? I'm asking because I can't connect to the Network and I can't find any EA-specific line in my "hosts" file. Except for a ton of "seach"-related lines...
Hope I am making myself clear on this.

Hi, I have reinstalled ME2 on a new machine and now I cannot connect to the Cerberus network to reactivate my game. Any ideas? Other than new hardware, I moved from Vista to Win7-64.

@CrazyIndianZA does it "timeout"?

Thanks for replying somejah.
My file goes:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # server origine
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # client host x
127.0.0.1 localhost
# Start of entries inserted by Spybot - Search & Destroy
I'm not sure, but my guess is if I delete all entries I'll undo the list of pernicious websites Spybot has created. Plus, The list will re-create itself when I update Spyboy definitions (once a week),
Would this be safe/make sense?

Since it will reupdate anyway it should be safe so by all means try it. Also make sure there are no antivirus' blocking the game.

Done. Now it gives me the option to connect (which it never did before) and then says connection timed out...
Firewall is authorizing the program, so no problem there. Any idea?

Try using these commands in command prompt (admin mode!):
netsh int tcp set global ecncapability=disabled
(Do this one on its own first before using the others.)
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh interface tcp set global rss=disabled
netsh interface tcp set global congestionprovider=none
netsh interface tcp set global ecncapability=disabled
Once you have done that whether it does or does not work you must reset them to default by simply putting =default at the end instead of =disable/=none.

I tried the first of these commands a couple of days ago, but to no avail.
I am using XP pro, and maybe these do not work under XP?

Hello
OK, so i bought the digital delux online, and everything downloaded fine or so i thought, now, after putting in the correct code durring the installation process, and registering the game on the website, when i try to open it for the first time it again prompts me for an activation code, which i yet agian put in, and am told that its not valid. is anyone having the same issue or is it just a "user interface error" on my part. any information would be much appreciated.

I actually have a question about the 'Bonus BW/Microsoft Points' that my social Netowrk page claims I'm supposed to get when I activate my Cerberus Network Activation Card-Thingy that I got with my Collector's Edition game. Accoring to the page, we're supposed to get 1200 BW Points (or MicroSoft Points, but we're all sane PC Users here!) when we redeem our Cerberus Activation Codes, for those of us lucky enough to get those... Here's the problem; I was one of the unlucky many who got a mis-printed Cerberus Code.. Apparently, EA sent a LOT of them out where the code on our Cerberus Card was actually a (Second) Collector's Gear Redemption Code on the Cerberus card. So, EA had to link everything up in the background, totally bypassing the normal process. I've been doing this runaround with them for a while, and despite sending them a screen-shot that quite plainly says that we're supposed to get these bonus points for redeeming, I've been told that regardless of what my DLC page says about bonus points, that they don't really exist. I'd personally like the word from someone in authority at BioWare about this; I'd personally like to know what's going on here, since I'm not exactly sure how the Truth In Advertising Laws work online, and I truly hope that BioWare isn't being intentionally misleading, and that EA just have their collective heads up their keisters, and that SOMEONE in authority on the BioWare side can straighten this all out.

SyntheticPhylum, What is written on that page is how much it would cost to buy the Cerberus Network if you did not have the card, It was not intentional when they made the page to make you think that you get bonus points, it is just them messing up there, you are NOT entitled to any bonus points.

Hi Bioware,
I have an issue with my ME2 copy - it didn't contain any cerberus reedem code. Can you please guide what to do next to get the code?
