I find it amazing that people are actually surprised. EA is a terrible publisher, and has terrible support for gamers. They always have and always will be the type of company that will drag their feet on anything that will cost them a DIME. Don't expect a quick fix, don't expect them to stay up all night working on this issue. They push pre-orders at gamers and then force registration down your throat to make the extra buck knowing full well they never have been and never will be prepared for any release.

hmm, somehow I was able to connect to cerberus.
That's what I did: Disable auto-login, then restart the game, and use my ea credentials to log back in, and ta-da, the second screen/laptop/cerberus started to work.
Now I have access to two more files (Zaeed and Normandycrash), Zaeed ain't installing and is sort a stuck in my process tree, can't kill it. :s

bottom line, I"m sure I'll eventually enjoy this game, either with or without the DLC I paid extra for, but in the back of my mind I'm always going to feel like I've been ripped off. Kind of like buying tickets from ticketmaster.

Cerberus also works for me now too. Perhaps it's fixed as I have been trying for the last 4 hours so.

Suck it up my foot. In any other business if you sold a product that didn't work out of the box you'd have legal duties what would have to be completed. Launches like this are becoming so common that it's almost not worth it to buy the opening week or two. It's doubly frustrating that I seem to be getting punished for being a loyal customer, being delivered a broken product that I have to jump through hoops like a circus poodle to even hope to get a shot to get it working, only to face up to the fact that, if I read the part about activations on digital download correctly, I don't own the game in practical terms, I'm merely renting it for an as of yet undetermined period of time when I run out of activations.
Meanwhile I hear news that the pirates already have the DLCs running and don't have to worry about some byzantine process to earn the right to enjoy the game.

well i can tell you one thing, don't delete your profile then try and use the codes after deletion...found that out the hard way...codes won't work after making new profile and making sure email is the same as my XboxLive account email....i hope i can get my stuff back.

ok so this is how i got the terminus armor and weapon, i went into the cerberus network IN GAME then i went under DLC and it was there for download, download just started after waiting for like 30 seconds...good luck all

My Live account is under a hotmail address but my bioware account is under a yahoo address, does this mean i'm screwed if I used my yahoo address when it comes to my redeemed codes? any help thanks.

It is past the time they said the cerberus codes would work, but I am still getting the "already in use" message in game. I have never used or registered the code before this first attempt in game. Any ideas?

Hello I purchased Mass Effect 2 the digital collectors copy from direct2drive.com I cannot get past the EA release date check screen. It loads up and says :
