First of all, i was uncertain if this is the right section, if it's the wrong one i am sorry.

So, considering that most of the mysteries of the dragon age world are events in the past, would you like a dlc showing us directly what Happened? We could play as an ancient elf or one of the first magisters.
I am myself dubtious about it, but wanted to hear your opinions.

Pros: -we are not told, we are shown what happened. For example If we will ever see the the black city, it could be an option.

Cons: -Our decisions can't affect the story, because it's the past.

They did give us some DLC which happened in the past for DA:O, namely Leliana's Song. However it's not so distant past as that... just maybe a few years earlier compared to DA:O event.

Your concept's interesting, I would love to see Arlathan & the Ancient Elfs or the Breaching of the Golden City. However I also want to know what happened after the Inquisition so... well... :)

Omg yes, I've thought about this so many times before. I would love to see The Exalted March, or the other Ages but then I realized...it wouldn't be Dragon Age lol

That would be interesting to me, but I suppose they might not want to reveal too much about certain things (givn the ending) related to the magisters and what really happened with Solas.

Sometimes it seems like the past ages have more interesting things going on than the present age.

It'd be great to see some of the cool history up close.

Personally? No.

Seeing the past could ruin the mystery of some things, especially when certain ideas and decisions are meant to be ambiguous to the player without knowing what happened when.

However, events that didn't 'spoil' such decisions would be welcome. For example? The founding of the Grey Wardens and the end of the First Blight.

I think it depends. I like the idea of character based dlcs, but I'm not sure I would want to go so far into the past that little, if anything, impacts the present.

I would love to see a novel about some of these events though. The fall of Arlathan would make a much better book than a DLC, I think.

No. I'd rather go to the future.

Mass Dragon Effect :P

In the future, where dragons took over Thedas and then began their campaign into the stars...

I'd like that sort of DLC, especially if it somehow tied into the events of the three games we have so far. Like, you get to play as young Flemeth and see what really happened between her, Osen, Conobar and... other... characters.

I can see maybe having an Iron Bull DLC set in the past; it'll be a nice preview of the northern Thedas, Qunari/Tevinter plus we'll have the Chargers as companions. Since IB is the leader it could have some features like War Table missions, doing quests to gain reputation, etc

But I can't imagine having a DLC set in the ancient past. Maybe as novels or comics but in order for such a dlc to be somewhat successfull it needs a popular character as the main.
