Hello Mass Effect 2 fans.

We are aware of issues players are
experiencing and are continuing to listen and work on these issues.
When we have more information we will provide updates and let you know.

How can you tell if you are Cerberus Enabled:
When
you start Mass Effect 2, there are two computers on the main menu.  The
computer on the right hand side of the screen should be open.  If it is
not then check to see that you’ve entered your Cerberus Code in the
account creation screens located in game.

PC Collector's Edition Issues :
We’re
aware that some PC Collectors’ Edition Cerberus Codes are not working.
If you have the number 1688108 on the bottom right of your Cerberus
Network card and have not associated it to your EA Online account at
4:00 PM PST your codes will be fully functional.  If you already have
associated it to your EA Online account at 6:00 PM PST you can restart
the game and your Cerberus Account will be available automatically!

Zaeed :
Some
of you may be looking for Zaeed as a way to check your Cerberus
Account.  Zaeed is being propagated to Xbox Live as we speak and will
be available mid day tomorrow (MST).

Timeouts:
Some
users are reporting timeouts or connection drops to Cerberus Network.
We are actively pursuing a fix to this and will update everyone once it
is fixed on the server-side.

General Cerberus Issues:
If
you’ve entered your Cerberus Activation Code through the web interface
and have played other EA Games with EA Online accounts but are not
seeing the Cerberus Mission Computer open on the main menu.  You’ll
need to contact EA’s Customer service line to ensure that the Gamer Tag
in Xbox Live is associated with your EA Online account you’ve used to
activate Cerberus.

Add to that list the vast number of people who can't import their ME1 games. So far, not a single person that I know has been able to do it on the 360 unless they re-buy ME1 and replay the final battle.

As far as Zaeed is concerned.......let's say I start my campaign now.......does that mean I won't be able to download him for use in a campaign already in progress?

After following the printed directions - I waited two and a half hours to get EA to link the account to the main gamertag on my xbox 360. Unfortunately, I forgot to have the link my own gamertag (my husband & I share the console), so I am on hold again to get that fixed.

I understand that this is not Bioware's fault - it is obviously the publisher that dropped the ball. I really hope that EA does something to make up for this. I took a half day off work to play the game. Still haven't played more than 30 minutes and didn't get overly involved b/c I didn't want to link my ME1 character without the DLC and I was listening to EA hold music.

I am willing to bet money that the only way your Blood Dragon Armor will show up in ME2, is if you registered DA:O with the same EA account you registered ME2 with.
Different emails = different accounts the two game are linked to.

If that is the case, that is an EA support issue.

This seems probable. I doubt you can link one Xbox gamertag to two EA accounts at the same time though.

I should say, do I need the Cerberus Terminal to download the terminus armor. This system is overly complicated.

Is it safe to enter the code for xbox 360 now? Cerebrus works. Has anyone had luck with the collectors and blackstorm stuff?

Is there any way to contact them through the phone? All I see is an "e-mail us" option at their support page.

I've a question about "make sure to use the same exact account" phrase.

When they say 'account' do they mean the same email address?

I ask because while my Bioware account does somehow have my correct xbox Gamertag linked, the email address I login to my bioware account and the email address I use to login to my xbox gamertag is different.

Same here. A long time ago I got a new e-mail address and I registered it with my XBL gamertag, so that their e-mails would still get sent to my new address, but when I go to XBL.com, I still have to log in with the old e-mail. So the e-mails have to be the same according to the one you used to create the XBL account, and not the one you have on your account information?

Maybe they could remove the keys linked to everyone getting the problem, so we could re-use the key?

The codes have worked just fine for me. I guess just really make sure your social account and ea whatever email matches up and that its linked to your gtag for some people.

I called them and was given some automated voice message about how my e-mail has to be the same for both, and then the call ended. Obviously, if I knew that ahead of time I wouldn't be calling.

Now I'm in line for a tech support chat behind 250 other people.

What poor customer service...

I just have the DLC linked to the incorrect Bioware/EA account (wasn't sure which one had my gamertag attached). I really just wish there was a way to transfer it.

that would be nice.

it took me a few hours but i found my original account my gamertag was linked to. Its from 5 years ago and i never accessed till now.  Not sure why they couldnt just have you enter the keys on the xbox like the cerberus card. This is bull****. Ive refusing to play this untill its fixed, and so far i spent almost 24 hours trying.

This is what I was told:

To link your xboxlive gamertag to your EA Account (which I was told was the same as the Bioware Social account), go to www.support.ea.com, log in, go to My Account, scroll down to the area to select a default 'persona', click add new persona, enter your gamertag, and you have linked your accounts.

Though when I try to do this myself all I get is a message saying "System Error. Please try again later.".

Also, is it true that your Bioware Social account have to use the same email address as your Gamertag account? If so then I'm royally screwed since I use all my PC related stuff on one email and everything else on another..

Seriously, why all these hoops we have to jump through? Couldn't someone had spent some time coming up with a more streamlined way of doing this?

I have linked my accounts. It still does not work. Why? Now I I have lost the cerebus network and I am not going to pay 15 dollars to buy it again.
