I am in Australia.. every time I try to Cerberus it times out :S I have downloaded all the DA:O content in game off of EA's server.. but I can't even connect to Cerberus to put in my codes! Any info.. is it my copy? connection? or Australia? lol

Worked perfectly fine for me. I had absolutely no trouble redeeming Cerberus Network or dowloading any content whatsoever.

It was my fault I was doing things wrong so in a way there was no real problem lol.

I scoured these forums, much like Shepard scours the galaxy for allies (loooove this game!) and found a way to get passed the connection time outs.. simply reset your internal clock to 2005, all perfect now



(I didn't discover this fix, I don't want credit for it.. just posting it in a more visible spot)

I have the same issue...I was able to log in to the Cerberus Network and download the Gamestop armor/weapon, my Dragon Age armor, and the extra DLC. That was on Wednesday, then last night I booted up ME2 on my Xbox and, lo and behold, the Cerberus Network would not connect. It is now giving me a "timed out" error...all night long. I guess since I downloaded all the DLC already it doesn't matter that much at the moment, but why does it keep doing that?

this is ridiculous i  pre ordered from gamesstop and entered my code not knowing that my bioware account need to be the same as my xbox live account so now am i **** out of luck? the problem is that i dont ever use my xbox live email so basically it doesnt exist anymore so i cant even link my accounts i want my DLC unless they rectify the situation i will never preorder a game from EA or bioware i want what i paid for anybody else have the same problem?

My ea account is linked to my GT and it is the same e-mail login as the bioware social network yet when I try to redeem the code it says that no GT has been linked. :/ Common, man.

You screwed tha pooch this time. Fix this **** please and do it quick. People are pissed can't u see. We forked out money to play this game. Now we're on hold for hours and ready to scream. So many problems to update. You'd thought you would have check to make sure game was bug free and ready to play. But no me thinks you were obviously concerned only about making money. Please please fix so we can do what we bought game for. To play it not use as a coster for our drinks and have to wait for updates inorder to play game as it was Intended for, and to access codes we paid more money for in buying CE of game.

I signed up on both sites using the exact same info as my xbox and yet when i try and go to add my GT it says that it is in use? wtf ea how can my own GT be in use by someone other then me. I work at gamestop and unless they fix this garbage quickly (its been 2 days) i will screw them.

I recently created an account, because i forgot this ones email and password and i used the Terminus Armor code - but i linked it to the new account, the one NOT registered to my xbox live account is there any way to fix this issue?

My EA account is linked to my XBOX Live name. I only have one persona, my XBOX Live one. I logged in, entered code and then NOTHING. I have no Cerberus Network, the code is now used and EA Help is about as useless as a rock in the bottom of a well. I wanted to live chat - HA. Sat in queue for 45 minutes to be told no one was available. I tried to email - HA - Operation timeout Use the Back button and refresh your page to correct. What a joke. There is no wonder that games go to the crapper once EA gets ahold of them. I'm not a moron - it's just the code didn't do anything. I have nothing and I did it all right. When I log into my account on social.bioware.com it says my email AND my Live name so I know it's 100% right.  I had no problem with Dragon Age Origins. Heck the armor from that is in my Mass Effect 2 game I just don't have the ones that I am supposed to have from THIS release and the Cerberus Network code.

I was waiting 30 min for live chat and just when it was going to hook up then said I was disconntected, fired off an e-mail to support and going to avoid playing any ME2 until I can get issues re-solved from support.

Yeah I haven't seen this raised as an issue yet, but I actually downloaded my Cerberus network and Dragon armor ok, but I didn't have my persona updated so my EA account was fixed by EA and my Terminus armor was provided I got Zaeed fine but now my Cerberus network isn't there anymore, any ideas? Also my code obviously states it has already been used.

I tried to activate my code. i did it while i wasnt playing the game. i turned on the xbox and then turned it off and turned it on again and it still didnt activate... no new messages in my thing. WHAT DO I DO?

I had an account that I was never aware of linked to my gamertag that i never remember linking.

I made a new account unware of the old one and assumed i would be asked to link a gamertag after i put in the promo code. now I have an account not connect to my gamertag with the promo code and an account with my gamertag linked but no promo code.

I have also been trying to use hte live chat option in the support page but every 30 min, it just says cancled!!!!! I DEMAND AN ADMIN RESPONSE!

already beat the game never got my collectors edition armor, blood dragon armor or inferno armor. emailed EA on the 26th twice, still no reply. all chat attempts ended in the chat has been canceled after waiting 30 minutes.



ive gone from loyal customer to DEFINATELY using torrents for the dragon age xpac and any more bioware/ea games in the future. neither deserves another penny from me.

I need help badly. As I was downloading Zaeed.exe, the downloading stopped responding, so I canceled the download. Then I tried redeeming the code once more, but it doesn't work. Is there any way to download again?

Was just wondering what to do if I bought the collector's edition, but put the cerberus network code in for the regular edition. I have the collector's edition cerberus code ready to go but I don't want to put it in and waste it. Do I have to de-activate the regular cerberus network?

Edit: Nevermind, my mistake. It was simpler than I thought it would be.

well i managed to make the cereberus nework work. but the code i got for the armour has already been unsuccessfully acivated meaning i wasted money on the activation of a code which didnt activate... please help me o get it if possible

when i say cereberus activated i means on the right side of screen it says cereberus network

i came on this forum with the same problems. i had no idea what account to use etc and set up a number of new ones. then i just went to masseffect.com and logged in with my windows live account that i use to access msn on my xbox. i can't ever remember logging into a bioware account with these details or anything, but it had my gamertag there and my code worked for the collector's armour. hope this helps.
