I think this is funny. Check it out, I logged into my original account that my gamertag is linked to on EA website and clicked account setting. Now on the top of the screen it says the right email but it sends me to my new account info. WTF how, i wasnt logged into my new account. This makes no sense AT ALL.



I have an idea for Bioware. Let people change their emails in the profile edit page. This should then allow the right email (linked gamertag) to show up and everything fixed!!!

i have my EA account linked to my 360 on the proper account, but when i went through and entered everything in, being the terminus armor + gun, and the collectors edition code, and i am unable to download any of the dlc, and i have already put in the Cerberus Network, is there any known reason to this, and does this mean i am out of getting my DLC to which i have the right to get? because if thats the case, EA is ripping countless people off... and why is it set so you can only receive DLC in a weird way?

Yeah, I really don't get why you're not allowed to change your email address. I've gone through at least 6 different email accounts over the years and I know people that have been through more.

Sadly this account linking portion is not working properly for most users, myself included. I even created a new account that matched my Xbox Live info and nothing has worked. Good to see that EA can mess up the GotY Day 1 just because they make you use their website instead of doing everything in-game. Hopefully a fix resolves this soon but I paid to play a game, not search the forums trying to get a pre-order bonus. Sadly, this is the first time I have ever had any problem entering a code. Even Dragon Age worked better than this.

I went to add persona, as someone else suggested, and it's telling me my gamertag is already in use. I don't ever remember having a previous account on here. Is there any way I can do a search for e-mail addresses and find an old account if I did make one?



I just got done waiting 40 minutes behind 300 people for tech support chat, only to have it cancel as soon as it's my turn.

This is total S*** they could have easily made stuff downloadable by going through xbox live and ditch the stupid cerberus network crap, i hope EA makes up for this i had to spend an hour just figuing all this crap out and then i finally look on here and find out that zaeed isnt released untill tomorrow they better give us more free stuff for this total inconvnience bull S***.

I dont think EA or Bioware knows man. It seems all day today and last night they avoided these problems and havent addressed anything but write out what you see on the first page, which is just the instructions that are written on the redeem code cards.

It would be nice if these guys did something about it, like maybe answer the phone or live chat. I was so happy to get this game and play the hell out of it and now im so disappointed i dont even want to play it.

the same thing has been happening for me too, ive checked EVERY single email address that i have ever had, and apparently my gamertag is already in use, this is the first time that for any EA stuff that i have not been able to get the DLC so all i know is that someone has dropped the ball on this, BUT that being said

I would also like to know if there is any way to find out what email is using my xbox account? although I have been using the same email for EA account for a LONG time...



i sincerely hope that EA and/or Bioware does something about this all, because i would really hate being screwed over like that, and would honestly probably end up boycotting both companies for a while after screwing me out of extra cash

I haven't had the chance to check the DLC on Xbox Live yet, but I advise anyone having problems to go to support.ea.com/chat to chat with a live rep. Chances are, they won't be able to help you out but can escalate the case to a level III rep who will resolve it in no time.

I wasn't able to sign into my account for the past 5 days due to an email mixup, and the level III rep was able to fix everything. *knocks on wood* I just checked that my Gamertag is linked to my account and redeemed the codes... no problems so far. Worst case, PM me for an EA support phone number they called me from (San Fransisco).

edit: just noticed other big thread in this forum with the number in it... surprisingly the EA rep called me, rather than the other way around.  You guys really should call if you're still having problems.

I can't link my accounts. My Xbox Live Gamertag is on a different -mail address. Is there a way to change the e-mail address on the EA account so that I can link the gamertag to my Bioware Social account? I have e-mailed EA about this but still haven't gotten a response from them. If they can't fix this then they should make new redeem codes, and mail, or e-mail them to us! We should lose content we paid for because they can't leave things alone. Everything worked fine with Dragon Age. You did everything in the game menu on the Xbox360. What is they're problem!!!

To all those that think that you should be able to download it all throuh XBL may want to rethink that, because if they did they stuuf we are getting for free would be a charge. Remember it is free so stop complaining. They could have given it to you for anywhere from 400 to 800 points. Again IT IS FREE STUFF, so relax

Just to let you all know I have the 360 CE ver. and I did what the cards said and I have all the DLC as of right now. I no problems, so if you are having issues try the directions on the cards and if that dont work, make a call

I'm one of the legions who are finding that their 2 year old ME1 save of a Level 50 character on a 2nd playthru cannot be imported. I don't have easy access to the old hard drive and may not have even retained a pre-final fight save. The biggest selling point of the game is blown in execution, punishing the most enthusiastic and dedicated fans the hardest. People who didn't bother with buying ME1 lose nothing. I put in 40 hours leveling my character thru a complete game and started a 2nd run and I get NOTHING!!!! Thanks!

wow they really,really screwed this up. All they had to do was let you download the DLC from xbox live like all the other companys, butt Noooooooo EA/Bio gotta have you jump though a bunch of loop holes to get what they promise you. I've been trying to find a fix for this all day and EA/ bioward isnt help one bit.

so i managed to edit my xbox email to my bioware email from the dashboard, nope still didnt work. register that email with ea, my gamertag is already taken. do some research i guess in 2007 i registered, havent logged on since but awesome problem to have.

They won't let you delete your gamer tag from being linked to the wrong account. Pain in the butt
