I started a bioware social network account and redeemed the code but now it doesnt show up in my registered game promotions and says the code has already been entered. My Cerberus Network is workin just fine and all that but I have no idea what happened with the terminus armor and that gun.

This is stupid, im pretty sure everything is linked yet when i select too download it on my Xbox 360 it just says "Cant Download items, please try again later" no reason....

At least it says its free so it looks like its semi working it just wont download, god this is so retarted.

So i started ME2 on my Xbox and wanted to login to my ea account but the game didn`t even ask me about my ea account just wants to know my cerberus key and even that i can`t enter because i can`t use any hyphens to seperate the segments of the code. any way to fix that?

I don't think you need the hyphens, when i realized mine was ****ed by entering it via the website i tried to download Cerberus using the code input and it said the code is in use, and i didnt use hypens, kinda of ****ing stupid since its linked too my gamertag and im logged into EA, why does it matter if its in use it should just accept it, since im logged into the account the key is used for.

I called EA. It took an hour so I just put them on speakerphone and did stuff around my place while waiting.

They told me Live Chat times out after 30+ minutes so at the moment I wouldnt even bother wasting your time hoping that will work ( didnt work for me after trying a few times )

Anyways my account is fixed and I'm happy again

I registered on EA/Biowares site with my current email and redeemed all of my codes. I was unable to link my gamertag to my new account because I already linked it to an email I don't have anymore.

It looked like I just screwed my self out of all my DLC. But there's a way to get around it!

Create a new Live account( silver is fine) and when you login use the EA account you redeemed your DLC with. You can uses DLC on any profile so just dl and then use your normal profile.

I see alot of others the same problem I did so I hope this helps.

1. Create a new gamertag
2. Link it to the ea account that has the DLC
3. Log into the new gamertag and download everything
4. Sign out of the gamertag
5. Sign into our original gamertag
6. Load up ME2 where all the DLC should be

I am really confused with this.  I entered my code for Cerberus Network and the collector's armour/weapon using my EA account which is linked to my xbox live gamertag with the same bloody email, but I can't access anything.  What I have noticed is under "Your registered game promotions" it shows all my stuff and:

Email Address: blank@ hotmail.com (same as my xbox live account)
Gamertag: None (When I log into EA.com and look under persona my default is my Xbox live gamertag)

Why can't I get the cerberus?

In reply to AV4DA i also dont have my gamertag under my email on the promo screen, which worries me, im hoping that when EA link my gamertag to my EA account i will be able to see it then, are these accounts linked to our EA accounts.

Or is this going to become a ****ing link fest?

Because i cant find anyway to link my xbox account too this account on this webpage.

I just relised how doomed i am, im on page 45 with my request on the EA forum to change my gamertag ID... on page 44 a dev posted saying there upto page 9, working as fast as they can and will update daily.....

I download the DLC to the cerberus network no problem. To get the collector's armor problem..lol. I signed up in the bioware website and ea website and tried to put in my gamertag and it said someone had that tag...huh??? I had a old email address and put my new email address though the windows live id and my account info no problem. But this is crazy, I emailed tech support, never got back to me, I called and wait for a hour but never got though. Where's the staples easy button when you need it!!!! I'll keep trying but ea sucks for this...

I am getting a error when i try to setup the cerberus network,telling me i not old enough.

At 28 i think i can take what it throws at me.

I tried to find if any of my profile's are incorrectly setup age wise,with no luck so far.

any help would be great.

I was thinking the same thing. I had gone onto the support before release and read up on what I was supposed to do. When the game came tuesday, i had everything done that needed doing well in advance and everything worked like clockwork. It seems that most of the confusion is the fact that people didn't check to make sure their accounts were linked correctly before entering the codes.

As I always say, measure twice. cut once. It's an old construciton saying, but i think it works well in this situation.

Don't know if it is EA's fault, but I am crying right now over the Bioware acquisition by EA. The Cerberus Network and Bonus Content Activation has been a horrendous experience. Requiring users to access these codes through a separate online process is beyond ridiculous, not to mention the pre-order promotions nowhere mentioned this significant requirement and potential nightmare. Every other Dev/Publisher has used the existing MS Live Marketplace system, but they had to re-invent the wheel this time around. You guys are savvy enough to pull off a direct game feedback mechanism but can't even manage to let users seamlessly enter codes in-game or at least on MS Live Marketplace for additional content? This has been a truly frustrating and pathetic experience. Thanks for wasting three hours of my life. Hopefully I can still enjoy the game feeling cheated that I don't get to use content I paid for. Farewell Inferno Armor, I barely knew you from the glamorous promotion images and description.

FYI i followed all instruciton but i already have had a couple of EA accounts, over the years, and my gamertag is on god knows which one, so i cant link my gamertag to my email that i use for everything now, so i cant access anything because EA suddenly decided to force everyone to link there gamertag to there EA account to be able to get DLC

EDIT:

Infact im not even sure that my gamertag is linked to any of my EA accounts which means either someone has linked MY gamertag to there account randomly or its bugged.

I'm not sure if this has to do with account linking, but it's a problem with the Cerberus network. My account here is linked, but I've entered all my codes through the Xbox to avoid confusion. I have Cerberus up and running and I managed to download the Normandy mission.



Even after I downloaded this DLC, the game requires me to stay logged into Xbox live in order to use it EVEN THOUGH it's already been downloaded.



Is this normal? Are we supposed to be online at all times while playing this game? If I'm not on the internet and I decide to play, I get and error message saying that the "DLC is corrupted" and needs be downloaded again. Ok, how can I do this when I'm not ONLINE? Is the DLC really corrupted or are we just supposed to stay connected 24/7 to the internet?

I agree with most of the people here.. They made this way more complicated than it needs to be.. I got screwed out of my Collector armor/rifle too, thanks to an old EA account that I had forgotten about already being linked to my gamertag apparently.

My Brother Downloaded the DLC just fine, but since we share the 360 we're using different gamer tags. Now he inputs the cerberus codes using my account and it says it's in use. So does that mean only one gamertag can use the DLC on one xbox 360? Because the DA:O DLC worked fine for both our gamertags. Now my Gamertag has the blood dragon armor, and he has the 2 DLCs. This sucks! Why can't they just do what they did to DA:O DLCs?

I don't understand why my collector's gear and my blood dragon armour won't show up in my DLC list at all, they are listed unto my activated game promotions and my account her is connected to the gamertag I use, email is all perfect, etc.



However, I cannot seem to connect to the Cerberus network at all when I'm on my Xbox, it repeats the message that my "connection was timed out/interrupted", does anyone know if this is a known problem, if this is what is preventing me from downloading my redeemed codes?



If so, does EA plan to fix their servers? ;_;
