- Dagna told me to take runes to her to craft. "Don't worry, you'll see!" So I kept clicking on her after getting rune/masterwork materials trying to get her to make me one. *facepalm*

- Not realizing that other locations (like keeps and the Fallow Mire veilfire stones) were also fast travel points. Dangit, why do I have to schlep myself all the way back to one of the two camps in the Mire?!? :)

- Trying to climb an impossible mountain not realizing the landmark is below.

I was ready to strangle Dagna - make the gd rune already!!!  Ooohhhh, it's a weapon?  *skips happily to the crafting table* What, I need blank runestones, where the heck do I get those? Gah! Oh, right in my own backyard, who knew? *skips happily to the crafting table again* I can't put a fire rune on a staff?  Ugh, fine...have a spirit rune, Dorian...oh wait, I made a rune!!!  *does happy dance*

I just realised last night that I have to buy potion chests in MP. I have been dying so much. Those poor people that have been playing with me.

It embarrasses me how long I spent hunting rams in the Hinterlands, cursing the danm things because they'd run away from me. Then I remembered that I was traveling with Sera. Sera who carries a bow

Biggest one, for me, was trying to save Segritt during the Battle of Haven in my first playthrough.  Mind you, I figured out quickly enough how to get inside the burning building.  So I find him laying there on the floor, smoke and fire all around us.  But then I couldn't figure out why he kept laying there even though I was clicking on him over and over and over again ... hadn't yet figured out, you needed to right-click and hold on a character in order to revive them.

Then I couldn't figure out how to get the door opened, because the debris was in the way.  Managed that eventually, but Segritt died during that playthrough.  Poor Segritt.

Then there's trying to get up to the top of any particular incline.  I'm edging my way up there, carefully enough.  I'm almost there ... almost.  Then I suddenly slide down on my backside, again.  And I'm cursing up a storm and my kids are looking across the room at me.  And THEN I look up at the top of the hill -- trying to find some better pathway up there, mind you -- and I see Solas just standing there at the dang top!!  And it always seems to be Solas, by the way.  Oh my friggin' tricky elf god, sometimes I hate you!

Lol. That's when you just switch to Solas and let inquisitor blink themself up there after you turn around.

I fought and killed a high dragon and dang forgot to loot it. Immediately went back to Skyhold to do some crafting with dragon bone and was going "What, where's the bone?" Then I realized I forgot to pick it up.

Cole was basically a one hit wonder my first run. As in one hit and he'd die. I finally realized after maxing out his assassin tree and the dual daggers tree that maaaybe I should give him the passives that actually let rogues dodge ****.

The Orlesian ones are (Same model as what you see in the winter palace). Blues drapes with a golden something pattern in them. You can see what I mean in the video below

Spoiler

You can always buy the drapes try them out and if you don't like them reload back to the vendor :)

I like the Inquisition drapes (turquoise with a golden border and tassles)

Thank you. My favorites are the dwarven, but I wanted a change, a true blue. I keep mixing things up: a Tevinter this, an Orlesian that, a Chasind throne with Ferelden decorations, I don't want anyone to think I favor one group over another - ha!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who curses the hills. Did the same thing in Skyrim, but at least you had Clairvoyance there to help you find the path. Going have to try the switch thing someone suggested.

Was it the cave with the cache? That one had me going for an hour.

Buying staff of the void for most of my gold thanks to the model suiting my outfit... and then finding it as loot from literally the next trip out from Val Royeaux/Skyhold. :(

Getting pushed off the edge of a cliff in the Forgotten Oasis by my companions. :(

Only one question: were you so mean that they did it on purpose? :P

Thinking I was going to play a beastly, seven foot tall walking fortress with a completely-sealed visor and dragon-like horns for my first playthrough.

Then learning Qunari can't wear helmets. Dammit, Bioware.

It's hard to drill two holes onto a helmet for whatever reason it seems. :D

Randomly running back and forth between tombs I'd already entered while trying to find the final piece required to make the key. Googling, to no avail, and then upon happenstance, viewing the next objective clearly outlining where I needed to go to find the final piece... a place I'd already been but apparently not searched through entirely.

It wasn't until well into my fourth playthrough that I discovered the kitchen and the wine cellar in Skyhold. And even then it was only after someone else pointed out to me where it was.

I have still not found that yet. #DontJudgeMe

Viv's personal quest.

Unlocking that area in Exalted Plains, killing a few wyverns and thinking I had an ice wyvern heart. Give it to Viv back at Skyhold, her plan fails miserably... then I realise. I tricked her, it was an ordinary wyvern's heart.

Well... sh*t was a very fitting response to say the least.

I didn't know I can unlock that area. I literally climbed the rocks nearby for an hour before I found the operation flag..

Don't worry, I had similar issues... Like finding Imshael in Empruse Di Lion or whatever it's called. I took about four hours before I found the entrance to the keep... painful.

It's totally unfair how convoluted the pathway to that fort is. I think I might actually take up one of his offers in my NM playthrough.
